The location of the hotel is unique. The room is light, bed and linen were very good! The hotel is marvelous!!! Drinks at the bar were very good! And to be able to walk directly into the forest is just supreme! I really enjoy my stayed!

Just a lovely place, the location, in themiddle of the Black Forest, yet close enough to restaurants & downtown Freiburg. Service ,staff, food ( breakfast buffet & chez eric restaurant), all exellent. A fantastic place to stay, we will be coming back very soon. We can definately recommend this hotel.

Comments of our guests are very important for us because they show us in which areas our services have to be checked and if needed have to be optimized. It is a great pleasure for us to read that you especially appreciated the quality of the food served in our restaurant, the cleanliness of your room, our abundant breakfast buffet as well as the friendliness of our whole team - except from the lack of kindness of our reception team. Generally, we get a lot of positive feedback about the friendliness of our team. We will talk directly with our reception team. Furthermore, we thank you for your comment about the renovation needs of our hotel. The Panorama Hotel Mercure Freiburg was built at the beginning of the seventies in its multi-storey elongated way. Over the years, the hotel has been continually modernized and renovated. In 2013, the last "major renovation" took place in several parts of the house. In 2016, the swimming pool area was redesigned and equipped with the most modern swimming pool technology. In 2018 the topic of "fire protection" was implemented according to the latest standards for the best possible safety of our friends of the house. Further measures are being planned. We enjoyed the views, and where pleased with the restaurant. Bathroom was small, some light need maintenance, the place is a "little" old-fashioned. The parking is difficult. Despite the above if I revisit Freibourg, I may book again, to enjoy the view and the environment.

Furthermore, we thank you for your comment concerning different subjects. We thank you for your comment about the size of your bathroom. In both room categories we have bathrooms with bathtub or shower. Generally, the bathrooms with bathtub are more spacious than the bathrooms with shower. We gladly consider your preferences regarding this upon your next reservation. As part of the room renovation in 2013 we thought also to enlarge the bathrooms. However, this would have meant the omission of the balconies and terraces of the hotel rooms. So we decided to keep the size of the bathrooms and to redesign instead the exterior of the rooms for the benefit of our friends of the house. Free parking is available directly at the hotel and along the access road to the hotel. Due to the general booking situation, it may happen that there are no more parking spaces available near the entrance of the hotel. At any time you have the opportunity to park your car short-term in the roundabout at the entrance to load or unload it. We gladly assist you on request with your luggage and to park your car.
