Comfortable bed, good shower

Bedroom was good. The safe in my room was not working. I mentioned this to receptionist, they said they would get someone to look at it. This did not happen. I wanted to put my valuables in there and had to carry them everywhere with me instead. The shower had 'hair and body' lotion and body cream. The sink area had soap and hair conditioner. I also explained that the body cream should be in the sink area and the hair conditioner in the shower, but that was not changed either. Breakfast was OK. As a non meat eater and being GF (Sans gluten), choices were limited, but otherwise it was good. Staff were very helpful and friendly.

The hotel is ok, however the beds are uncomfortable as are the pillows, depending on your personal preference I guess but I found the bad and pillows not up to Mercure standards. Staff were helpful & friendly French & English speaking. The general area is a little rough so mind how you go walking around at night

Receptionist pleasant, bed was very comfy and room had good soundproofing, however no proper cups only paper disposable cups for coffee , as I don't like single use items and as I always think that coffee tastes bad in these it is an issue for me .

I was feeling kinda lost in Paris since I had such a quick stay. I felt a bit embarrassed to ask questions since I already had my google maps on but the staff was so helpful and they didn’t make me feel like I was asking “silly questions.” So that helped me find my bearings and feel welcome in paris.
