Overall, the location of the hotel is excellent, with convenient access to various attractions and amenities in Kuala Lumpur. However, my experience with the accommodation and services was mixed. Initially, I booked a studio apartment with a kitchen in the residence block, which was spacious but had several issues. I had to report a leaking bathtub 3 times before it was properly rectified, and even had to instruct the maintenance staff on how to identify the problem. Additionally, the air conditioning in the room malfunctioned, disrupting my sleep due to a clogged dust filter and dusty conditions. Ants in the kitchen were found in the kitchen. The hotel promptly addressed it by relocating me to a premium deluxe room, which was an improvement. Throughout my three-night stay, there were frequent disruptions in hot water supply, WiFi connectivity, TV channels, and power failures due to power box failures. Service at the BlueBar on level 2 was lacking, as we were left waiting for 15 minutes before being attended to, despite others who arrived later being served promptly. The breakfast experience on my last day was marred by sour turkey strips, which I brought to the attention of the waitress. Despite my concern, she dismissed it as containing cheese, although it was clearly not the case. Only after informing the Executive Lounge team was the dish removed. Unfortunately, my dissatisfaction extended to the overall service provided by the hotel, despite being a long-time Accor Plus member. While the Executive Lounge staff met expectations, the F&B service, especially at the bar, fell short. Despite reporting incidents of poor service and experiencing health issues like diarrhea, the response from the hotel, particularly the Executive Lounge, was limited to apologies without any meaningful follow-up or action. This lack of accountability and resolution was disappointing, as talk without action holds little value. I have seek medical treatment upon the next day of check out and the bill coughed up to SGD$150. Will I be able to claim this to your hotel? If not, I will not consider your hotel for my future visits to KL. In conclusion, while the hotel's location and certain aspects of service met expectations, there is significant room for improvement in addressing maintenance issues, service quality, and responsiveness to guest concerns.

We only stayed here because we had last time we were in KL and had a great experience and other Pullman hotels elsewhere however this time we had no hot water for almost 48 hours as the scheduled out of hours 1am to 6am maintenance on day three of our stay discovered issues. This resulted in not being able to have a shower/bath after full days discovering the city (including walking in hot weather), use of the pool and gym. The ‘running into issues’ wasn’t communicated to us however other parts of the hotel had hot water services only after complaining we were given access to use another room to have a shower on day two of the issue. Traveling with a toddler and back pain/issues we selected Pullman due to our experience in other Pullman and associated hotels but this one didn’t live up to its standards to make matters worse air conditioning at breakfast time in the main restaurant wasn’t working and then we had no working television for three days. If we used the wifi to stream on two devices, it kept kicking the other user off the ‘wifi’. The phone stopped working and sometimes no one answered so I had to go to reception for any thing. Because there was no hot water on one of the days housekeeping decided that washing up the dirty dishes/replacing them gave them an excuse to leave them behind and not provide clean ones. We came back to an ‘apology’ with 3 bite size individual snacks that were sitting out on the bench for how long and included raw/cured salmon. Would have preferred an appropriately thoughtful apology rather than a cookie cutter approach that we were given especially when no thought was even given that the ‘apology snack’ was inedible. Furthermore, we ordered room service one day and it never came. Despite all this and the multiple services disruption/inconveniences it caused we were just expected to just deal with it. Our stay was almost a week with a late check out charge but for the convenience and facilities we are used to in a one bedroom suite of such similar hotels was very disappointing. We will not be returning here.
