I felt truly well taken care of during my stay at Fairmont Chateau Whistler. Although I was there primarily for a business conference, I was able to take advantage of the hotel's amenities and found the service exemplary. I had forgotten to pack my sneakers and stopped by the concierge desk to ask where in town I could go to buy a pair so that I could exercise in the gym - instead, they sent a pair up to my room in my size that I was able to use for my entire stay. And when I wanted to go skiing, the on-site rental shop, ticket desk (which sold me a half-day ticket at 12:30 pm), and the ski valet made the entire process a breeze. The front desk was also incredibly accommodating with a late check-out time. I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone who is planning to ski at Whistler/Blackcomb and to anyone looking to feel welcome in Whistler.

My dad is a hemodialysis patient, most concern for me would be his special low salt/ potassium and phosphorus diet, appreciated very much hotel food and beverages service, the servers and chefs tried to accommodate my requests as best they could.

Magnifisent experience, The staff are not like any staff I ever seen, kind, sweet and always smiling. Super clean hotel and I loved that there is coffee in many places in the lobby and in the swimming pool.The coffee in the room was high quality. I ordered a soup in room dining and was amazing. You need high budget to enjoy this hotel, but it is worth it. the ski and hikes around are what the cherry on the cake

Overly Expensive, dirty glass in the room, self carried luggage to check out because service was too slow, view of another building and a road

Gold 1 BR suite was excellent, bed super comfortable. All staff were very good indeed. Organised walks etc all wonderful. Gold lounge cries out for an adults only space. Breakfast could be better in both Wildflower and Gold Lounge simply by making buffet food hot and having healthier options. Deeply annoying shop in the bedroom described as an 'armoire' selling me minibar items and snacks which I don't want. Fridge doesn't have suitable space for the items I would want to put in it such as soda and chocolate not available in my country and keen to enjoy here. To do so would cost me a $20 'fine' which is appalling on a $17,000 dollar stay. Even a small carton of fresh milk to make the Nespresso drinkable would risk that fine. It's stupid, when I can go down to the Gold Lounge and get the non-alcoholic fridge items at no cost.
