My wife and I were unable to sleep due to the fact That people were outside the front door of the Hotel Smoking and talking most of the night. At one point the cigarette smoke was so bad we had to close the window. It was a warm night that is why the window was open. The temperature was an unusual high of 25 at 5pm Then With a lot of noise in the corridor. On leaving at 6am there was a woman passed out in the corridor. This I reported to the guy on reception on leaving. Not out best experience at Waterloo. Having staying there meny times.

It should be branded Ibis "Budget", as the service around your room are absolutely basic. No single bottle of water in your room, no amenities, and even the body soap bottle at the shower was empty for 3 of the 4 days I've stayed. To make it noticeable, I dismounted the soap bottle and disposed opened in the shower ... even than, the bottle was left there unattended by the room service for 2 days. Finally, the air conditioner at the room was only available as air flow, no heating no cooling. Not sure if for the season weather conditions (begining march).

Good location, Basic furniture and poor maintenance

Good location with easy and free parking close to waterloo center, shops and supermarket. Bed was good but all furniture is rather old and very basic with tiny table and no chair only a stool, not adapted to do some PC work in the room. General maintenance is poor, carpet and walls show many signs that have not been fixed or refreshed. People at reception were very kind, welcoming and helpful to try to satisfy my request (for a chair and fixing the TV that was not switching on).
