« Good service mind but rooms is not quite clean »

Staff is good service mind and ready to give best service to customer but room is not quite clean , there is fungus on blanket and so dirty inside that. Shower tub cannot be used.Breakfast and Dinner is good taste. And if staffs recommend about Accor plus member benefit to use for dining ,etc , it will be perfect.

The hotel is very nice. Check in was not so impress as the staff didnt give us the clear details. We booked through hotel website with a special chic promotion but staff didnt inform us about it on the check in and i realized it the next day so i had to ask them by myself for the special offer... (and they charged us for that chic cocktail promotion when we checked out which i clearly pointed its wrong so they took it off the bill lol)...The room was a bit dirty. Staffs are very friendly. Breakfast was amazing. We enjoyed the countdown on new year's eve.

« In need of renovation... »

I stayed in several so Sofitel properties and while Bangkok is still the best, the Hua Hin property falls short on many aspects. Pros: the design and décor (so Sofitel did a great job when they took over the property from Alila). It reminded me of Alice in wonderland. But unfortunately it is not enough for a supposedly 5 star hotel! Cons: - rooms are in great need of renovation (plug sockets hanging from the wall) - dirty windows - the room concept from alila is usually concrete with wood, the problem is that the wood in the bathroom has aged and it looks very run down - weird lighting in the room (and hard to find which plugs does which light) - weird smell in the room - turn down service: never replaced towels or did a brief cleaning service in the bathroom. - small balcony but no chairs or table so no outside seating in the room (only the rooms at garden level have an outdoor seating area) Hotel services: - F&B choice is limited during the day and is not particularly good - service is slow - limited English proficiency at the reception

« An unpleasant experience »

My parents came to visit us from overseas. Our family stayed in the pool villa for 2 nights. In the beginning we were impressed by the 5 (or only 4?) starts hotel's unique concept and fancy design, howerer, their unprofessional management and poor service made a very disappointing end!!! Such as waiting for luggages to be sent to our room over 1.5 hours, the noise from pool pump at midnight all the time and also no clearance for our private pool during our stay.....Althouht we received an apology call from the hotel manage after making a complaint, it was an unpleasant experience for us!!!
