How dare you claim 4-star hotel service! My wife and I stayed in room 600. The corridor carpet is covered with stains from a product that has faded the original color. In the morning, my wife counted 22 spider bites and I only 3. I'll spare you the inconvenience of the itching, which really bothered us until a chemist sold us an ointment to ease the discomfort. The condition of the carpet is identical to that in the corridor. I think you should seriously reconsider your housekeeping, because it's obviously poorly done. Having stayed twice before (2019) I was excited about what to expect - I didn't expect stained, dirty carpet, very poor water pressure in the room and bath towels that were barely effective they were so thin. The facade and entryway looked so bad I almost thought the property had closed down. Service was good, breakfast also good - but the whole place is looking very tired, in need of a major refresh and - where did the pool go!

A well located hotel in the heart of Vichy. Now, the hotel needs renovation as everything (but comfortable mattresses) is out of fashion and tired (eg corridor carpets). Some staff polite and engaging, some less so. Fine for a short stopover in the middle of a long drive, less so for a longer stay.
