Situated in the picturesque countryside village of Worsley, within a 5 minute drive of the acclaimed RHS Bridgwater gardens, this 3 star hotel is just a short 20 minute drive from the Manchester city centre, with Salford quays and media city, the Trafford Centre, the ski centre and many other attractions all close by. Spacious, airy rooms throughout, guests can relax while the kids have fun in the outdoor playground. Our hot buffet breakfast is also served daily as are light snacks and full evening menu.

Manchester city centre is crammed with shops including the Arndale centre, or in easy reach is the famous Trafford Centre. Other attractions including LEGOLAND® Discovery Centre, the Chill Factore ski centre, SEA LIFE centre are easily driven to from us. In easy reach- Man.United (Old Trafford), Man.City (Etihad Stadium), Lancashire cricket club. Take a bus, from the hotel to city centre or to Walkden railway station, with direct connection to Salford, & Manchester Piccadilly. Manchester Airport 13 miles.

Good Stay apart from pull out bed

The only complaint I would have is the beds for my children where awful!! The springs were very prominent, so prominent that they really shouldn't be in use! I had to use the duvet cover as a mattress topper and they still didn't sleep very well. Other than that the rest of the stay was good.

Regarding the sofa bed, I'm afraid that we allocated you to the wrong room type, the family rooms, executive rooms and twin rooms all have refurbshied sofa beds. The room that you stayed inm, the sofa is simply that now, not meant to be used as a sofa bed. Our opologies for not spotting the error. We have stayed at this hotels on numerous occasions because we find it very useful when visiting family. On our most recent stay we did have a small complaint regarding our room (smelling of weed) but I am happy to say that the reception swiftly dealt with the problem with apologies and changed our room for us and there were no further issues.

The rooms had air conditioning. Bed was comfortable, clean and rooms were of good size. But no fridge. Only downside was bathroom floor. The tiles were slippery after shower sprays got onto floor. I had my elderly parents staying in a separate room so I got worried about them.
