The Reef House Palm Cove

The Reef House is an iconic boutique hotel for adults and couples overlooking the Coral Sea in the tropical village of Palm Cove, 25 minutes north of Cairns. From the detailed communication before our visit, the very personalised welcome, the gorgeous pools, surroundings and room it’s safe to say our experience at The Reef House was pretty perfect. The restaurant is outstanding for both breakfasts & dinner and the bespoke included experiences like cocktail making & wine tasting made our stay extra special. But the absolute standout of The Reef House is their people & service. From Cedric & Michelle front of house to the wonderful Kenny in the restaurant everyone we came across during our stay was just wonderful. We’ll be back!

My annual rest and recharge was even better this year, as I was joined by my best friend from overseas. The consistently high level of service, friendliness and 'family' feel to the Reef House, is what makes returning so special. This, and also the insanely good food that the restaurant serves up - coconut barramundi...you win me over every time! And the steak is also the best I've ever had. For the "wineys" there is an extensive cellar to choose from. I'm not sure if it's the sound of the tropical rain, the waterfalls, or the seabreeze in the palms, but I can't wait to return and have the best week of sleep as well - including afternoon naps! Thanks to all the staff at The Reef House, for being my home away from home. Your "Australia's No.1 Luxury Resort" award is so deserved. See you next time.

Met by the friendliest staff you will come across, nothing too much trouble. Upon entering, felt like walking into Raffles, the decor, warm, humid weather and the surface finishes contributed to the charm of the facility. Room was good, comfortable beds and balcony seating

The staff were amazing, friendly, interested and interesting. Our room was beautifully appointed and spacious, we had a verandah spa room and it felt like a home away from home. The daily activities and food offerings made it easy to relax.

Once again we visited Palmcove and stayed at the beautiful Reef house. The moment you arrive you are greeted by the most wonderful staff especially Cedric their Concierge. Given refreshing towels and refreshment. Shown to our room and what a view.
