I would not mind repeating although I think the heating was not working. Anyway, it was not cold and everything else was according to my expectations.

4 star? Well, I think someone was playing a bit fast and loose with giving out stars! In my view, a 3 star would be a more accurate reflection: No room safe, No fridge/minibar, No drawers (just shelves), No room service menu or hotel guide, No bellboy, No signage of how to pull up in front of the hotel, a bar that doesn't open until 16:30, so no lunchtime drink and an bathroom that could do with modernisation, i.e., without the rust and a heated towel rail that actually works. More positively, the breakfast was excellent and the person who cleaned our room is a star - the cleaning was excellent. It is well located for the centre of Bochum, but it could be so much more! Okay as a business hotel and simply adequate as a leisure hotel.

A bit disappointing

I find your amenities rather minimal in view of the price. My room had no adequate lighting, no safe. The bathroom had no toilet amenities other than soap and shampoo. The reception staff was barely courteous and sometimes no one was at the desk. Breakfast was good although it was impossible to get a man made cappuccino.

Nice, cozy, cute hotel, rooms are good enough and had all we needed. Stuff is helpful but not really friendly, somehow they tried to avoid any conversation with us, both reception and the restaurant. Maybe we were unlucky to have them on a bad day, but for the price we pay they should welcome us with a smile. But for the rest we enjoyed the stay and the super cute city. no smile, avoiding contact with guests, treated us like we pay cheep and dont deserve it, while we found the stay pricy comparing to similar hotels
