The room was spacious and comfortable. To be improved: - not enough choice for vegetarian or vegan people. After a couple of days, I was finding myself eating always the same meal at lunch time and dinner time, for 4 days. - Button "do not disturb" at the room door: When deactivating it, I accidently activated the button "please clean the room". Besides there is no warning light, then it is easy to forget it when leaving the room. I think that this occurs very often. What happened was that I was having a nap after lunch. I pushed the button "Do not disturb". But the cleaners knocked at the door anyway (I did not answer as I was sleeping) and entered in the room. When he saw me he apologized and told me that he did not know if I was really in the room or if I had Ieft the room and forgot the "Do not disturb" button. - The area where the hotel is located is bad. Not possible to have a nice walk, got to take a tax to go to some other place.

Well located, however there is more better options with lesser prices

I couldn't rest in my room as I could hear the footsteps of anyone walking in the room alley and I could tell whenever someone is entering or leaving their rooms, same for any noises outside. the rooms are absolutely not sound proof. The breakfast is ok however mediocre specially compared to other Movenpick hotel in Gammart or even other hotels in the same area and the staff hospitality feels not the best but that's maybe considering there's lots of people so no time for attention for everyone. overall when I pay double the price for a hotel in an area I expect at least double the Quality of service, but in this case i barely found same level of service which is discouraging to book again in the hotel, I would just pick a hotel that offers the same or even better and get better value for the money. or at least choose the other Movenpick branch even though it's far located. otherwise i'll pick other options in the area.

Though I usually go for Mariott hotels whenever I tavel worldwide, the exception is in Tunis; Whenever I tavel to Tunis, I choose Movenpick. The service is exceptional and both myseld and my wife feel welcomed.

The hotel is overlooking the Lake of Tunis, unfortunately no access to the lake nor to "sit by the lake". Even if your room is "lake view", your view is partly blocked by a building. However, the part that you can see looks quite nice. There are plenty of facilities to be enjoyed including an in-door pool and a fitness center. Breakfast comes with sumptuous offers that comes with a variety of Tunisian sweets (including baklava) and ample choices of pastries. We stayed here for 3 nights and on the second day we spent nearly an hour at breakfast and still couldn't manage to try everything. Service is overall courteous and helpful. The third day of our stay was the day of Eid, which means no tour was open for business so we had to go on our own "tour". The hotel reception was happy to give us suggestion where to go and how to go there. We ended up having a pleasant day in Sidi Bou Said and Carthage.
