Comfortable room, great service, good location

Good location (walking distance to Dubai Mall, as well as other shops and restaurants). Friendly service (especially towards our toddler, who was given a stuffed animal--in package--upon arrival). Spacious, clean, and comfortable room (upgraded upon arrival as well, which was nice, and had a view of the Burj Khalifa), with everything we needed. Comfortable bed as well. Would recommend and would stay again.

My room comforted me so much, and I was satisfied with the service of reception and breakfast during the date I stayed. Plus, it has a gym for those who are interested in exercising before resting. Especially thanks to the team at breakfast time, who nicely introduced and advised the options.

Stevie at reception was amazing his so professional and treated us well at checkin he apologised for the rooms being delayed but also upgraded us to a burj view. The staff are wonderful and very attentive. I would highly recommend Movenpick Downtown

Lot of scope to improve - not guest friendly at all!

The reception team needs to change. I stayed for almost 30 nights and they don’t consider you as guest at all. Especially the reception team is very rude - they don’t send even basic bottle of water as requested - stating no water for long term guest -how is this justified? Anything you order during breakfast is delayed and end up leaving cos of delay. Few staff like restaurant and dinning, staff handling luggage are very courteous. But middle management and upper management staff in hotel think and act as if they are doing a favour to attending to guests. For me this was totally a bad experience. Never again I would recommend or stay in Mövenpick downtown!
