I had been looking forward to my stay at your hotel. The room was nice enough, and the housekeeping staff were pleasant. There were, however, several issues I'd like to bring to your attention. On my first night, I discovered that there was not a fridge in my room, and that the space that a fridge would logically occupy was empty. When I asked the front desk about that, the clerk explained that the hotel was switching from minibars to regular fridges. This might be useful for future guests, but not a very helpful explanation for me, and this news was delivered matter of factly, and without an effort to suggest alternate solutions. On the final morning of my stay, I also mentioned that 1) the deadbolt on my room did not work, 2) the TV monitor in the room had had a series of dots burned into the display, and 3) the bedside and overhead lights flicker. I shared this news with the front desk, and again, was met with relative indifference. You have a cool building and a great location, but your team needs to work harder at the maintenance and hospitality aspects of running a hotel.

Good location, decent stay

The room was nice, the hotel was hard to navigate and the concierge at check-in didn't provide any direction - nor was their anything in the room to show all the amenities of the hotel or where they were located. Also one of the reusable water bottles in my room had been opened and previously used, which was off-putting. The location was great for the reason of the trip, but was underwhelmed with the experience.

The room was okay, but the last 2 days our room was not serviced(not cleaned). Also getting our car took a every long time every time we did it.

Absolutely fantastic Hotel! Stayed in Durham for a week for work and they were able to get me checked in a little early! Chantel and Christie at the front desk were incredibly kind and helpful! The nightly Bourbon at the Hotel bar was such a nice treat! And the Museum and vault are really cool! I look forward to future stays on my next visit.
