We had a three night stay, and during our stay we found all staff to be very respectful and helpful. We appreciated the glass of wine in reception during the afternoon. I had inadvertently booked a room with twin double beds, and had to request a room with Queen bed. Although very busy, this was done for us very quickly. The only disappointment was that we were not upgraded to an ocean view room through our platinum membership. We missed out on a beautiful full moon on the nights we were there

Sofitel Broadbeach was in a great location and i think thats all it has going for it. For the price, i expected more. You have to pay for wifi, in 2024 thats ridiculous. The TV is blocked and can only watch tv channels, unable to login to any streaming services or screen cast from your phone. The rooms and hotel in general needs a refurbishment. The bed is quite old that you can feel the human groove in it. You also have to pay a $300 deposit upfront and wait to get back. Usually in 2024 now they imprint the card and check it with a $1 charge, again, very outdated. The room was clean and service was good throughout the stay though. I wouldn't recommend it for future stays to anyone.
