While the room was clean and the staff polite and helpful there were some issues with the hotel. We had no drinking glasses in the room and had to drink water out of cans from the mini bar for which we had to pay. The hair conditioner container inside the shower cubicle was empty. There were no toilets that I could find at or near the swimming pool. The only breakfast available was the complete buffet in the dining room. There was no room service menu. There was no bottle top opener for the beer bottles from the mini bar. One of the 2 small elevators was not working. On the plus side we had a dinner and lunch in the dining room and the food was excellent.

1. Location is horrible 2. Staff not helpful 3. Cleanliness horrendous (someone’s hair everywhere, dirty sheets, dirty glasses not washed even after cleaning service) 4. Food inedible

I was part of the group from a cancelled Copa flight that stayed at the Novotel. The staff handled the high influx of passengers during check-in in a well-organized and polite way. The accommodations presented at the Novotel was second to none. The dining staff were extremely helpful in providing our meals and requests. I would highly recommend the Novotel for anyone staying in Manaus that wants the high-end experience.

Good stay, wifi was not good

The overall stay at this site was good, all services were good except the internet connection. I was travelling from abroad and needed a reliable wifi connection to have access to the internet as this was my only form of connectivity. The wifi in the hotel was terrible, constantly dropping connection and not being able to make simple calls home. Additionally, the only area in my room with proper connectivity was in the bathroom.
