The staff were extremely professional and helpful. Our room was clean and we enjoyed our welcome gift. Thank you. The location is great. The only issue was the lift from the car park to the hotel was broken. It wasn't a major problem as the reception staff allowed us to unload out front and while they looked after our luggage, we parked and walked around to the front. The bar and restaurant staff were equally as professional and helpful. Thank you everyone.

Another great visit. Rooms were spotless and well appointed. Staff really excellent and obvioysly very well trained. Only slight negative was we didn’t like that the excellent kids’ area has been moved to beside the front door. We felt it was safer tucked round the corner

We got a good price so don’t want to be too picky, however there were basic things like no shower gel in the shower dispenser that felt a bit too basic. Would be annoyed if I’d paid a higher price for the room but as a ‘bed for the night’ it was fine. We stayed at Novotel in Edinburgh a few weeks ago and there was quite a big difference in the two. Good little kids play area in the reception. Staff friendly and helpful. Was told check out was 11am and the Acor ALL app told me it was 12pm (once we had checked out and left). Not a big deal but maybe would’ve planned our morning differently. Good parking (if you get a space). Overall it was ok, fine and clean for a night’s stay.

The staff at the hotel were extremely helpful. I had an issue (my fault) which was resolved very quickly by friendly and helpful staff members on reception.
