I am going to cut to the chase with positives and negatives of this hotel, it’s mostly positives. Positives: Friendly, helpful staff It seemed to be newly renovated so the bar/restaurant area is very nice, clean and modern. The food we had in the bar area was excellent and surprisingly good value for money considering it was a hotel. Breakfast was very good, although as is the case with most hotels - pricey. Good location - 10 mins walk to the S Bahn station and only a 25-30 min walk to the centre of Munich. There are a few nice restaurants nearby and a shopping centre close-by. Room was nice and quiet. Negatives: The bed was not very comfortable, didn’t like the memory foam mattress although some might like it. Air con did not seem to work (and we were in the newer, recently renovated part of the hotel) and even trying to alter the temperature to its lowest level it was far too warm. The air con system was quite noisy too, which did not bother us too much but it might put some off. Overall a decent stay but the issues with the rooms let it down slightly.

Very nice Welcome in the Novotel City, location is very well positioned closed to the public transportation and the down town. Employees are very professional , and Novotel propose an amazing breakfast buffet. Strong recommendation for this hotel !! :-)

The hotel is centrally located, near S-bahn and close to the Deutsche Museum. Breakfast has a broad variety of options of many types. Hotel staff is professional and welcoming, always there to handle every request or any issue. Swimming pool is nice, clean and fun. Childrens' play room is a very good idea :)
