Nice welcome-- Nice and very helpful stuff. Breakfast good but way too expensive. Lunch perfect and delicious. Bathroom very small. Location outside, too loud for slipping well. Thanks

Great potential but mixed impressions

The hotel's location is great, the suite I had was spacious and cosy. The key problem is the staff - I had quite an unpleasant check-in experience (twice, as I couldn't check in on the first attempt and had to leave and come later). When I finally checked in - I found in my room two mini-doughnuts as a welcome amenity - compare it with a bottle of wine and various sweet and savoury snacks in an Ibis in Hungary, for example). The conversation with the hotel manager on the next morning left me a bit puzzled - instead of looking into the issue or offering something to improve the experience (a drink/waive the parking fee/throw in a bunch of points/etc.) he just quite absent-mindedly thanked me for bringing it to his attention as if I was a nuisance, really. That said, the bartender was super friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay pleasant. I won't be surprised to hear the bar/restaurant has different management though. To summarise - if I weren't Accor Gold staying in a suite, wouldn't be disappointed. The staff problem is obvious and undermines the great potential this property has.

great position, mediocre service

the room was really nice, old but big and very comfy... but they didn't cleaning one day. Problems with the garage (dangerous, only one way) the exit was a surprise every day, one day was a door, the day after another one. No ring bell, you have to be there with the hope that someone see you. one day I said to the girl at the reception "I'm leaving" I've been waited for 15 mins, I called the hotel, I have to come back at the reception ask to open the door an wait again. Too bad
