We can’t thank Burford Bridge hotel enough for hosting our wedding reception on 13th April this year. Our wedding was truly perfect from start to finish. We had the Rose package which was really good value for money with lots included. The food was delicious, the wines and Prosecco were really lovely, and the service on the day was fantastic. All the staff went above and beyond to ensure we could relax and enjoy our day, and so many of our guests commented on how flexible and accommodating the staff were. Kiki and Sarah made sure all our requests for the day were noted, Will the manager on the day was really helpful and organised, and Manny who was in charge of the table service was so kind and professional. We honestly couldn’t have wished for a better day. The barn is so beautiful and atmospheric, and the outside space is so lovely too - we were lucky enough to have beautiful weather and we spent quite a lot of time outside getting photos and having drinks etc. Thanks again everyone who helped make our day amazing!

Food was very poor, untrained staff in the restaurant, spilt wine, very limited choose and some of this not available. poor quality pre-package food. Breakfast same issue with some items not available, The one staff member could do with some customer service training. Manager around but ineffective

Stayed for one night for a wedding. Parking availability good. Check in good. Room with balcony overlooking gardens was lovely. Wedding atmosphere great. But - - service in bar (hotel area not not wedding) was woeful with a surly and sour faced server who quite frankly made us feel like an inconvenience. If this was a pub, I would have walked out and gone elsewhere. - others eating in bar area had misfortune of having food dropped over them. Yes these things happen but combined with the bar sourpuss it made it feel like Fawlty Towers - the bathroom was tired and needs an overhaul. Overall not an experience I would want to repeat until staffing improves and bathrooms upgraded.

Problems encountered were: Having to pay £10 to park in the (previously free) hotel car park. Finding the milk in the room for tea and coffee was off. Finding the otherwise charming bar lady completely out of her depth and unable to cope with most tasks. Finding the only source of coffee at breakfast was a machine that didn't work properly. The waitress and then the supervisor(?) chose to argue the point with me. It strikes me that you need to give your staff a bit more training.
