feel totally jinxed at this hotel as third stay which has had appalling build work impact.

Appreciate that the staff did all they could to mitigate what was for us an absolutely awful couple of days. Had organised early check in as arrived from NZ - (on medical advice we didn't cancel this holiday but my husband unwell and heading back for major surgery he needs quiet and rest) We arrived the reverberation from work on an apartment above (not in control of hotel) made the afternoon a disaster. The hotel was full so we could not be relocated to escape the racket. The next day the hotel located us in another room away from the noise for the day which was helpful but not at all convenient. This was the day of a huge rain event in Sydney so no going out! I had booked 2 two bedroom apartments as travelling with family. I refused to pay these first two nights as it was just so terrible - the hotel accepted that graciously. we stayed four nights. I always recommend this hotel to family and use for our staff but it is truly very upsetting. The first time we stayed there was a new building being erected adjacent - that was a terrible stay.

I stayed with you because you have good rooms with a bit of space and the ability to cook my own breakfast / dinner should I want to do that. The staff were very helpful and it was good to see that you'd improved some of the facilities in the gym since I last looked.
