It was ok. I didn't feel welcoming during checkin or checkout. It looked like a business/formal stay. The front desk neither welcomed when I checked in nor a smile or thank you during checkout. No one bothered to check how was the stay or thanked for staying at Novotel. I felt I was checking into an AI operated hotel where human emotions don't matter.

I don't identify as disabled so why do I need a disabled room

We booked both rooms and both were disabled. Why ? Having water run across the bathroom floor might be fine. but i prefer a proper shower without a shower curtain and a toilet with a lid and no rails.

The kindness and generosity shown by the Novotel staff, partnered with a gorgeous location, brilliant rooms, and well well-cultivated welcoming atmosphere made my stay truly phenomenal. In particular, Sam, Lettie, Sophie, Jessica, Demi, Adam, Paola, Mandy, Abbie, Michaela and Eva were unbelievably kind, welcoming and generous during my stay. Once again, I cannot emphasise enough that I have never had such a brilliant experience with a hotel, and it is entirely due to the work ethic, professionalism, skill and kindness of the aforementioned staff members.
