The 25hours Hotel The Circle is situated just a few minutes walk from the city in a spectacular rotunda. In collaboration with 25hours, the Berlin creative team from Studio Aisslinger developed a design concept on the subject of retro futurism. The 207 rooms are urban retreats with contrasting themes playful retro style meets imaginative future utopias. At the heart of the 25hours Hotel The Circle are the restaurant NENI and the Monkey Bar on the 8th floor with a unique view of Cologne Cathedral.

Quirky and absolutely fabulous

Really enjoyed this hotel. It’s got a very unique vibe. Staff friendly and helpful. Room was super clean and well equipped. Liked the absence of little plastic bottles for the bathroom with refilled glass bottles. More than functional it was an exciting room and the restaurant on the top floor had fantastic views. Breakfast was amazing. Lots of vegan / vegetarian options amongst a full range of traditional English and continental options. Only criticism was the lack of coffee making in our room, but the rooms mini bar was free. Absolutely would stay again- walking distance from the station on about 20-30 mins.

Perfect location. Nice large rooms. Exceptionel friendly staff - from reception to breakfast restaurant. The hotel give you a very special experience way over expected compared to the price. Example: the minibar is free, very dog-friendly attitude and delicious breakfast.

Stylish but undermanaged

The rooms are clean and stylish as well as the lobby. Reception staff is friendly but the waiting queues for hotel guest for the bar and the breakfast are unbearable. Hotel Management doesn’t exist. Location is good , value for money no longer there, we won’t come back.

Unsure. Service wasn't great

The hotelnitself is a fantastically quirky property with weird and wonderful touches throughout, however, service from the lobby immediately gives a vibe of uncertainty. We arrived early and didn't expect ours rooms ready being a Sunday morning, but nothing was explained about the property and our reservations not even checked. We had lunch in the restaurant and Sandra was lovely, but it took about 1.5 hours for a 1 course meal. When checking in, we were informed we "knew about the hotel" and sent on our way. The aircon in my room didn't work properly and after returning to see if it had been fixed, no-one on reception knew anything about it. The biggest saving grace was the bar and the service on the Sunday evening. Anika on departure was great. Unfortunately you can't give half stars on TripAdvisor, if you could this would be a 3.5 rating not a three.

25 hours - one small leap etc…

This hotel has a very unusual space theme. It looks a bit unloved and tired but it still has a little of the 25-hour hotel charm. The team is a little inconsistent with a few team members clearly carrying the rest. The ladies in the bar were fantastic as well as the lady who checked us out in the morning. The room carries on with the space decor and there was plenty of room. The bed was comfortable although I wasn't keen on the mirror headboard. The shower was perfect - lovely and hot with fantastic water pressure.
