Enjoyable stay

The property is an older manor style retreat a little way out of town. It is delightful with a lovely garden area and lots of public roo s to explore. The room was clean and comfortable but found the night temperature a little warm with an inability to change the temp using the remote. Meal in the on-site restaurant was lovely and dessert was a treat. Would happily recommend to others and stay again.

No heating or television working in both rooms. Don’t bother ever going here. Was guaranteed full refund as unable to stay in with room for the 2 nights booked and still no refund.

I am platinum with Qantas and All Acor and have never experienced such unprofessionalism in an Acor property ever. I booked 2 rooms for 2 nights and due to no heating ( forecast was for 4 degrees each night), and no television reception on any channels and apparently no spare rooms despite empty carpark I was forced to return home with my 83 year old mother - making it a 6 hour car trip. A full refund was promised yet a week later this has not occurred and 2 X further $200 bonds applied to rooms with again no refund. Acor are a great chain however fo not attend this property. Terrible, terribly disappointing holiday which was cancelled prior to a single night stay and management lies in regards to refunds rubs insult into the brand .

The dinner on the Sunday night was not good. The squid was very oily it was very overcooked and rubbery. The steak arrived on the table cold and was very tough. The prawns were very oily

Balcony room was nothing like photo or description. We were expecting French doors looking out over the gardens but we had one door that opened onto a shared balcony. When looking out from our room, we just saw the long shared balcony and no view. Tiny bathroom has no extraction fan. Cheap 1 ply toilet paper and lighting was very poor. Breakfast was adequate but very average. The whole place lacks character.

An elegant manor style accommodation with lovely gardens and public rooms to explore. Rooms are clean and comfortable. On-site restaurant has great food. A little way out of town. A golf course and tennis courts available. Wonderful fireplaces in the public rooms for colder days.
