| Couple Truly awful stay. Won't be back. This used to be a decent hotel and it's in a good location. But some of the rooms are in need of a revamp. They are dirty . Stained and the carpets are thin..horrible and smelly. Bed was quite uncomfortable. We called reception to complain about loud people outside of our room shouting. Talking loudly, partying and slamming doors at 4am ! But only got the option to leave voicemail which we did and nothing happened. Dread to think what would happen in an emergency. Hotel needs to sort it's swipe cards out..they never work and then you get the blame when you ask them to check it. You can't use the lift or get into the room so really important that they work.

The staff at the Ibis Northampton work as a great friendly intimate team who delivered a really nice stay for us. In particular, Sharon, the general manager, was very alive to all her guests needs. We had a small issue which she dealt with professionally and without hesitation. Well done the Ibis team.

Thank you Ibis Northampton once again for a lovely stay. The professional and lovely staff especially the night staff when I had to check out at 4am, the bottled water, cookies, comfy bed, storage heater, fan, complimentary drink..what more can I say. I appreciate you on my regular visits to Northampton. Only place to stay for a regular customer. Northampton is a great town, great food places to eat and steeped in History. Sharon

My stay at iBis Northampton was overall satisfactory, with comfortable amenities and a convenient location. The breakfast provided was okay, offering a decent selection to start the day. The staff were friendly and accommodating, which added to the positive aspects of my stay. However, one notable downside was the cleanliness of the walls in my room. Despite the friendly staff and decent facilities, the presence of dirt on the walls detracted from an otherwise pleasant experience. I hope the management addresses this issue to ensure a more enjoyable stay for future guests.

In der 4. Etage straßenseitig im Mai war der Strassenlärm leider sehr präsent, selbst bei geschlossenem Fenster. Erstaunlich was da abends und nachts auf den Straßen lautstark herumgurkt. Die Fenster waren enorm schmutzig, dass am morgen bei frontaler Sonne absolut nichts zu sehen war, wie eine Milchglasscheibe. Zimmer, Bad, Möbel und Bett waren sauber und soweit mangelfrei und optisch OK. Das Bett war sogar sehr angenehm in der HärteEin Wasserkocher, 2 Tassen, Löffel, ein paar Teesorten und Instantkaffe waren da. Kein Haartrockner, keine WC Bürste. Das Frühstückbuffet ist recht teuer und es gab im Foyer vor dem Empfang ein Buffet dafür. Für günstiger und evtl ansprechender kann man in mehreren umliegenden Cafes und Bäckereien was bekommen.
