The staff at the Ibis in Shipley are very friendly we had a great view of the Canal which you can walk along as a short cut to the station there were some lovelly canal barges and some very nice wildlife like Canada geese and Brent geese it also has parking

Filthy. Expect the worst and you won't be disappointed

We HAD to stay due to an event and this was the only choice available. Staff seemed friendly enough but the room was awful. We kept our socks on as carpet filthy and didn't want to put our stuff on stained chair. Cleaning is the biggest issue. Bathroom looked horrible with hair and yellow stains around the toilet. ONLY STAY IF YOU HAVE TO.

DISGUSTING!! Filthy! Smelly! Changed first room which was no better - had to leave as it was awful! The view of the rats from the window was the final thing!! The whole room smelt of wee - The hotel is disgusting - the lift was dirty - stairs - never again!

Came here twice so we could attend family functions. First experience was ok hotel room clean but bedding had not been changed from previous guest. 2nd time, big hole in bed base, definitely not suitable for sleeping in, complained to reception who swapped us rooms, this room was the worst ive been in, stuck horrible, and suprise suprise bed not changed from previous guests. Had to move room again to find someones pubic hair in the sink of this one, needless to say we wont be staying here ahain!! Yeah its pretty cheap but i guess you get what you pay for. Disgusting.

I stay there while in the are on business. Staff are helpful and really try to make your stay pleasant. The drains need sorting out, not hotels problem suspect fault is external, they need to contact Yorkshire Water IMHO.
