It was my second time staying in this hotel. They have opened for a few years but hotel was clean and nice, very friendly staffs. Restaurant is cozy and modern, good food and attentive waitress. If you stay in Hai Phong, I recommend choosing Mercure Hai Phong.

Quiet stay with a good executive lounge.

Stayed for 5 nights as tourists. The room was comfortable, but it lacked room for clothes storage. The bedside table did not have a drawer. It was a waste of space, it just held up a lamp. The bathroom had no storage for personal items, we used a shelf above the kettle in in the bedroom area. The hotel appears to be a business hotel catering for Asian business people (mainly Koreans based on the menu in the executive lounge). We were given a room at the end of the corridor far away from the elevator. It was quiet, our bed was comfortable, and the breakfast was good. The bar and restaurant areas were very modern and welcoming. The evening drinks and food in the executive lounge were very good. The dishes varied every night during our stay. Pizza was included every night as was fresh fruit and dessert. We recommend this hotel if coming to the city.

A pleasant stay in Hai Phong

Despite the hotel overbooking for our 2 bedroom apartment, we were offered a suite with adjoining room as an alternative which was quite acceptable to us as it included club room access. Upon arrival they wanted to charge us for an extra bed despite the original booking for 5 people. They claimed children would have to share existing beds, but they were 12 and 16. They stated hotel policy is under 12 years despite the original hotel booking website allowing for children uo to 17 years. I reluctantly agreed to pay for extra bed for 3 of our 5 nights. Aside from being frustrated on arrival the rooms were pleasant with nice views of the city. Whilst we did not access the club frequently I was able to grab a glass of wine on occasion and also celebrate the new year (2024) on the rooftop with a nice view of the city fireworks. The hotel is modern and spacious and well located.

Excelente hotel. La habitación muy amplia, cómoda, moderna y limpia. La única pega es que la nevera no enfriaba mucho. Estuvimos en la planta 21 y había unas vistas estupendas. Wifi en todo el hotel y con muy buena cobertura. El desayuno buffet buenísimo, tenían de todo tipo de comida oriental y occidental. El personal muy atento y servicial. La piscina de la azotea bastante buena y las vistas de aquí a 360° impresionantes. Un hotel que relación calidad precio estaba muy bien y muy recomendable.

Llegamos desde Hanoi, despues de una larga cuarentena y al llegar al Mercure nos parecio un oasis.Habitaciones nuevas y preparadas con todo detalle.Gente muy amable y servicial.Sang nos ayudo mucho en todo tipo de gestiones.Stanley todo un caballero y Leon un artista en la cocina.Creo que el restaurante es inmejorable, desde carnes hasta el Tasmanian Salmon y como no terminar con un cream brule.No puede terminar sin hacer mencion de la simpatiquisima Thao.Gracias a todos por sentirme como en casa.Sin duda tengo un hotel donde volver en Hai Phong. Eskerrik asko bihotz bihotzez eta hurrengorarte.
