Hotel is clean. Nearby to a busy shopping area which is good for some people. What I didn't like was having to pay for the use of the gym or the pool when neither was bigger than a standard room. Don't put reviews of the pool on your website if you don't own it, (it's part of the twin hotel at Mercure next door).

Allow me to address your concerns regarding the gym and pool usage fees. Ibis does not have a pool and gym facility, nor do we advertise on our website or any third-party website. As you’ve mentioned, it forms part of its sister hotel which is Mercure. However, if Ibis guest would like to use this facility, a daily voucher can be purchase for THB 500 and the amount can be redeem on food and beverage consumption. Super sincere welcome from Wisut who amazingly remembered our visit a year before and put me in a preferred room location. Great to be back! Great atmosphere in the hotel with Songkran. And great location of Ibis for Skytrain, Emporium etc. Lots of great restaurants nearby too.

We had originally booked 4 nights but on reflection near the time as we were arriving at BKK 0630 and of-coarse not being able to check in until 1400 what to do well thought book the night although it was more pro roata than the previous booking, then we could get in as soon as we got there. At reception I was told that the one extra night had been paid from my Booking.com account because it was at short notice and l had only to settle the original booking. I was a bit disappointed that the one extra night was around £10.00 more without breakfast as the original bookings were with breakfast. I think I need a refund. Reception was ok and we went to our room 1416 ,oh they omitted to say what floor anyway we worked out floor 14 room 1416. Pressing buttons going up and down with other guests coming in going out this went on for 10 minutes never stopping at our floor. Enter helpful lady guest “have you ever tapped your room card on the Wi-Fi symbol to activate the card “ no, no body told us that. Thanks reception. I swear our room was built as a single. Luckily we travel light, just hand baggage. Even so we had to use the seating bench for our bags 💼. Were you to have normal size cases plus hand baggage you would not be able to get into the room. There is just no space to lay down a suitcase 🧳 let alone two. You would be constantly tripping over them. Bathroom towels, of course the norm to replace them leave them on the floor. Unfortunately here there are no towel rails or racks. The towels are folded on a lattice square underneath the sink, so when you have used say the bath towel it now wet and with no rail to hang it on it’s never going to dry. Just a small hook. So no where else to leave them it goes onto the floor. Bad for the environment. Second morning being picked up at 0630 to go on a tour. Breakfast started at 0600, happy days, In there at 0600 🧐 the hot food dishes all four of the lids were off. Put my hand over the food didn’t seem to be very hot. I plated what I thought was a sausage and fried egg. We’ll, put that back as the white of the egg was not cooked properly on the top, wobbly jelly hate that. To be fair the server did go to the kitchen and brought me out two more freshly cooked over easy. Oh and the sausage was cold.

今年十一月在曼谷渡假,當初預訂這間ibis 並不抱有太多特別希望,只是看中位置優越在BTS Phrom Phong 旁和有我熟悉的購物中心都在周邊,去Thong Lor 和 Asok 都很方便,那天由另一酒店轉到此酒店入住,到達時才令我喜出望外,酒店很新,(五年前當時此酒店在建時曾住對面的酒店),這間ibis原來與Mercure在同一大樓的不同部分,大堂香氛氣味好聞(好像雅高的酒店都是這個味)大堂旁有7-11,對面有星巴克和找換店,和多間按摩店,最稱心的是酒店窗戶只是一塊密封玻璃,來自馬路上的煩噪完全隔音,還要贊空調出奇的靜音,最令人印象深刻的是他家的被子非常柔軟,枕頭也是很舒服,入住三天令我睡的都很好,很多五星級飯店也做不到,雖然房間面積不大,因今次只是我一人出行,使用上已完全足夠,電視频道很多,畫面也很清𥇦,有沙發,保險箱,冰箱,房間衛生狀況不錯洗澡水完全不會搞濕地面,大堂員工態度不錯,入住和退房速度很快,很喜歡,唯一意見:希望開放ibis客人也可使用29層的泳池,客房浴室掛衣勾不足,只有一個,希望管理層可以改善。
