Arrivés vers 8 h 00 à l’hôtel après un voyage de plus de 16 h 00. Nous demandons si notre chambre est disponible. La réceptionniste nous répond oui, mais pas avant 11 h 00. Si nous voulons y accéder, nous devons nous acquitter de plus de 2’400 bahts. Nous acceptons vu notre grande fatigue. Le pire reste à venir. Nous arrivons à la chambre exécutive et, malgré une réservation pour 3 personnes, nous apprenons que le lit d’appoint pour notre fils de 8 ans est… payant ! On nous suggère de l’installer dans le nôtre pour les 3 nuitées à venir… Furieux, nous nous rendons à la réception et la manager finit par accepter d’installer le lit d’appoint sans supplément. Quel manque de considération et seul le profit semble compter. Nous signalons par ailleurs des odeurs de moisissures dues à la climatisation. Le technicien arrive et nous dit que tout fonctionne parfaitement et il quitte la chambre sans rien entreprendre. La chasse d’eau tombe ensuite en panne à 3 reprises et le technicien est incapable de résoudre le problème. La manager nous explique qu’il faudrait arrêter de jeter du papier toilette dans la cuvette et d’utiliser la poubelle à cet effet ?! L’hôtel est vieillissant et manque singulièrement d’entretien. Par ailleurs, le quartier est mal fréquenté et les odeurs persistantes de cannabis sont quotidiennes. Un conseil, évitez de vous rendre dans cet établissement en famille…

Points positifs: Deco très sympa, chouette bar, check-in rapide, personnel sympathique, bon petit déjeuner varié, grande chambre, excellente literie, magnifique vue depuis la chambre, chambre calme, belle grande salle de bain avec douche et baignoire, gel douche/ shampoing /après-shampoing/ lotion hydratante fournis et qui sentent très bon, bouteilles d’eau fournies, très belle piscine, à 5 min du Sky train nana… Points négatifs: odeur de cigarette permanente dans la salle de bain (qui se propage ensuite dans la chambre), quartier a éviter avec des enfants (prostituées tous les 5 mètres le soir, cannabis partout). Bref super hôtel mais pas la meilleure situation.
