My first experience was not at all good, services given was not good. - No hot water - Sleepless nights - Too hot rooms and not controllable with remote, had to use window to make temperature stable. - No table for laptop - No charger point near to bed - Many more

« Good local hotel, very practical. »

This hotel is very convenient for us and we will be returning and will take a superior room again. The staff are very helpful and polite. The rooms are very quiet. The only criticism I have is of the shower which is badly placed in the bath.

convenient for visiting Versailles (Chateau and town), longish walk (30 mins +) either through the edge of town or partially through the grounds of the chateau, but easily do-able if you have good weather. Also located opposite large shopping centre (Supermarket, fashions shops etc, a Supermarket and various restaurants/cafes/bars). Car parking is plentiful and free. Hotel felt slightly dated, but that is nit-picking and room was extremely comfortable.

The bed was not comfordable; it was quit old and too soft! No sofa in this room, 303, which is not match as what seen on the booking. The showroom when taking a shower the water splashed out all over the floor, even trying to avoid. Need to improve those things.

Here my various reasons that will explain my "one point Rating" - hotel is very old and shabby, dirty walls, stains on every carpet etc. etc. - the smell in the hotel is very bad - the Aircondition in the room made a loud noise every 5 minutes, that resulted in a sleepless first night until I found out it was the AC, the second night was sleepless again, because of the sheer heat - due to late Arrival on first day, I tried the room Service: the Food was simply not eatable! I tried to Change hotel or room, unfortunately everything was booked out. I well never again book the Mercure Versailles, not only it's a total Nightmare but also it's way to expensive for what you get! I'm shocked, that this is the Standard of Mercure and Accor hotel Group!
