Easy , quick check in. Friendly advice form receptionist. Great room. WE had a junior suite - 2 adults 2 teenagers. Clean, plenty of space. modern. Good breakfast. Easy and quick check out. Friendlybar staff.No complaints whatsoever. Added to our stay in this wonderful city

Room was OK I forgot my toothpaste and call reception. I was sent to a machine in the toilette which was empty. I left 1 day before and request for an invoice. I was told I will receive by email and not to worry (I was insisting to leave with my invoice). As of today, no invoice received by email of course !!!

The airconditioning did not work/made it cool, so the nights wee very warm and sleeping was difficult. We reported this, but the promised fix did not occur without any message about that. This problem was present in three rooms.

« Covered the basics, but I wasn't thrilled. »

I stayed at the Novotel Paris Est as part of a meeting, and it was pleasant but not entirely what I hoped for. The check-in process took at least 15 minutes despite the fact that we had checked in online and priority. The queue was a 20-minute wait. The reception tried very hard to look modern, but the furnishings were up to date, and the room looked like I had stepped into the 1990s. Breakfast wasn't the widest selection, but I felt satisfied each day. Unfortunately, the crepes were always cold. The meeting facilities were nice and the staff were helpful in the run up to our event starting.

30 minutes waiting to get the key on arrival. Unexplained price, 2 nights 1 rate, the 2 others another one. The shower was not working.... a nightmare

« Very poor and unexpected »

Indian Institute of Public Administration, New Delhi sent four groups to Novotel Paris Est, including the latest group stay from 04 Sept to 07 Sept 2019. We had booking of 87 rooms (approx.). There was no bad feedback in the previous three groups. But in the 04-07 Sept 2019 stay, the feedback is very poor. The facilities were very bad, rooms are not cleaned for 2-3 days, arrogant behaviour of the hotel staff, breakfast was not good, items were limited in the breakfast and rooms allotted were very small and smelly. We had good experience of our group in March 2018, Sept 2018, Feb 2019 but Sept 2019 is really worse. We felt very bad before our group. I don't know whether my feedback will have any impact on Novotel Est Hotel or not but I request you to kindly improve your services and please don't provide such services to any group from any country. I did the check-in online but I had to provide documents and signatures in the reception. Bathroom without liquid soap and towels for 4, there were only for 2 people. Long lines for the breakfast and on the first day, all hot dishes were cold, lack of cheese.

Unsatisfactory. While doing online check in through the website I paid euro 320 as pre authorisation through my bank debit card. At the time of check in I was asked to settle the room payment directly with the hotel for euro 160.45. I was told that the preauthorised amount of euro 320 will be credited back to my account. Till date this has not been done. I have even escalated this issue with the customer care of Accor hotels. Can someone please help to get my rightful money back.

« Not to a 4 stars standards at all »

Very old rooms no maintenance at all it smelled terrible and not clean nicely my room had some wired black powder in the shower and the trap was not flowing the water away i had to change the room.. second room was the same .. the toilet wc was dirty yellowish stained and is separated from the bathroom near the main door.. imagine that you have to touch three doors knob to reach the sink to wash your hands “poor hygiene “ A/C is not working very well its hot .. my room was missing the kettle for coffee.. the cable channels doesn’t work well..bad pillows.. very rude staff not helpful they treat you like you are a servant not a guest .. even near the main gate drop in and off way is closed so if you request a taxi you need to stop in the drive way and put your bags?! I didn’t like the stone like walls in the rooms it feels like a dungeon.. I cannot explain enough how terrible it was .. even though we paid all amounts of during check in more tax money than was mentioned in Booking.com the receptionist requested more amount to be paid during check out as more tax also

« Substandard, bad customer service. »

The night crew, at the front desk, was rude during the check-in and the check-out. The tall black guy was rude and condescending. Additionally, the day before my stay another guest walked into my room with her own key.. she had been assigned my room. The room itself was subpar. The room didn’t have enough electrical outlets, and it lacked an alarm clock and any information regarding the hotel or local area. In the bathroom, the towels were old and dirty. Overall, the hotel seemed more like a motel definitely not deserving of the 4-star rating the hotel claims it has. It was a very expensive motel!

wonderful stay with wonderful facilities. bedrooms were great and very comfortable, beds were of great quality and we slept well. breakfast was good with a wonderful variety of food; all of which tasted amazing. restaurant on the night was great and the food was of high quality with great taste. experience with staff was great; those on the reception were very friendly and we're a great help. staff overall were great and made our stay worthwhile!

« Very nice hotel and reception staff however the coffee shop staff is ill mannered!!! »

I absolutely loved the hotel and the staff over all except the coffee shop staff. Firstly it noticed ur hotel receives lot of Asian guests but there is no food choice for them. For kids who are vegetarian. U asked for a simple toast with butter which they refused to give since it was not a part of their menu. I had to order a whole dish just so that my kids cld eat the French fried coz they refused to serve it separately. They r rude and not a Novotel standards!!!!

The hotel tries very hard, but it is a little bit old mess. beds, food, bar is good though. Airco functions only moderate. Meetings rooms are old, not fresh, and the one that we used had no airco. temperature rose above 28degrees
