« Good beds, friendly personnel »

Our stay was satisfactory. There were ants in the bedroom, more specifically in the sofa bed. The person sleeping there was bitten while night long. Upon mentioning this at the reception desk, the receptionist immediately took action. The restaurant wasn't terrific however, not much choice and certainly not great cooking. It was edible.

Welcome was pleasant and good explanations given on the direction to take for reaching the room and access the breakfast room on the next morning in the early hour. However a suggestion about simple maintenance in every aspect of a room.... Have the room attendant to signal to reception whatever defect might be such as a sink plug not functioning well when you press the tap button to have it to come up (I took the plug off to drain the water which is a minor issue).. second situation in the room...One side of the bed has no side bed table (Taken off but not repaired or at the maintenance shop if any). Both are minor issues as I said but do not reflect what NOVOTEL level should be Room 211 on 27-6-2019. Other suggestion, Manager in place should check at random a few rooms a day on top of the room attendant filling out a defect notice to reception.

I am sure that this feedback will serve as an encouragement to all of our staff as we strive to continuously improve the quality of our services. we have well noted your technical comment and suggestion and we thank you for it! For the plug off to drain for the water we have gived it to the technic service and they will find the solution. For the bed side table, the only problem is that this room is usually a room with 2 little beds instead of the large one. So when the beds are separated we can not put the table anymore. So we have bought for this room and two other with the same problem a multi-function table that you can use as your convenience, as a bed side table, as a table to take your breakfast in bed or as a low table behind the sofa! We hope these furniture will come to us as sson as possible to provide a better servie in these rooms. Staff were very polite and professional. Room was very good. Only downside the menu was only in French,which I understand,but the amount of British guests,it would have been nice to have the option to have some of it in English.(maybe a thought for the management).

We have always enjoy staying at Perpignan but this time was a little disappointing. The new look restaurant and menu looked good but bearing in mind the limited choices two of the six main course dishes weren’t available which I personally think is very poor. The bar staff seemed younger and less friendly and overall not up to the usual standard

Lovely, helpful English speaking staff. Clean well equipped room with supersize comfy bed. Very overpriced food and drink so went into local town but didn't see a single restaurant. Really convenient stop close to motorway.

I received an unexpected upgrade which was wonderful. The room and staff were very helpful and friendly. The choices at the restaurant were limited, but to be expected in the depth of the off season. It was a stopover during my drive from Switzerland to Spain, but if I had the choice I would stay here for a short holiday break.

Great location not far from the motorway and the boarder . We have used this hotel in Perpignan three times now on our way driving to Spain . Rooms great for what you need . Staff friendly and polite . Even though we did not get there til 9 pm restaurant was Open until 10.30 food high standard . When we stopped on our way back from Spain in July outdoor pool was open to relax around and rooms had air con . Would definitely return . The breakfast was also very nice too self service with a good selection hot and cold .

We have stayed at this hotel 5 or 6 times and have always enjoyed it. The staff are very friendly, the dogs are always made welcome, it is clean and the food is good. The only criticism I would have on this trip is I asked in advance for a ground floor room and we were given a first floor room. We complained and it was swapped immediately

Fine hotel well run with good food ,We stay here each year and have done so for nearly 35 years.This Novotel has been upgraded and the air conditioning in the room worked well given the hot temperature. I still have an issue with the high price of wine and I think if each hotel had a reasonably priced wine sales would be higher
