« No Dinner AGAIN »

Booked a table in the restaurant for 8pm. Nice restaurant in itself. Waiter took our order at 8.05 pm at 8.20pm, as others around us were being served along with people who in came after us, I asked where the food was. I was informed it was slow in the kitchen. At 8.30 pm I asked again. at 8.45 pm the waiter told us our order had been "misplaced". He took our order again. At 9 pm we left. Hungry. This is the second time in this area, last year in Grenoble, that Novotel restaurants failed to feed us. Fortunately we travel with a lot of energy bars.

Breakfast was more or less ok - but for example the Variation of cheese is in an ibis better! We can‘t you the Pool in the Morning. .... 10.00 a clock it was closed for cleaning !!!???!! And at the bar ... Howe is it possible to allow the staff To fill in u s e d glases. beer ( de pression) Unbeleavable!

« Good hotel let down by its Internet connection »

I have stayed several times at this Novotel. I don't remember the Internet connection to be that bad. I simply couldn't work with it. I had to work from the lobby to ensure my phone had the necessary reception to tether from it (the mobile reception in the room was not good enough - which I can't blame the hotel for). For the rest, the hotel remains good to very good. Staff is professional and helpful, restaurant is of good quality, and I couldn't fault the rooms.

1. The internet in the room is bad and when you have to work, this is very annoying 2.Restaurant: chef cooks are really good, but we miss the standard cuisine. The people in the restaurant were also friendly. 3.The welcome drink is less than mentioned on the voucher (Aperol Spritz was not possible). 4.Communication needs to be worked on: we asked a late check out (14.00 hours) the evening before our check out, this was ok and written down in the agenda. I worked in our room till noon, however got a call from the reception, to ask when we were leaving, and ten minutes later somebody was at the door to ask the same question....

« A really excellent 1 night stay on our way south to Provence. »

Excellent staff, very helpful. One criticism, the tea/coffee making facilities in the bedroom were poor compared with some other hotels, some often cheaper. We lacked any fresh milk/ or even longish life milk in a tub with a tear off top. There is a fridge ready and waiting. For a refreshing cup of tea following a long drive and a cup first thing in the morning before breakfast we would need 4 tea bags of say breakfast tea and milk. The existing supplies are almost all scented herbal/floral teas with no milk. Apart from that, you catered for us very well. Excellent menu choice for evening meal and wine choices. Breakfast very good but the quality of the breakfast coffee was poor. Just those few adjustments and your score would have been 10/10!
