« Conveniently located hotel near J&J »

Good dinner place. Compact, comfortable rooms. There were 2 receptionists at check-in: one lady giving a lot of explanation for 1st time visitors, the gentleman was very/too brief in welcoming new guests.

« Room is great but bad experience with the restaurant »

The room was great but I have to wait more than 50 mins at the restaurant, then the waiter told me that my dish was not available. Then I have to order something else and have to wait 30 mins plus. After finishing eating, around 22h45, I still have to wait 5 more mins at the entrance of the restaurant and no one was there so I can leave. So I came back to my room (I had an important meeting to prepare) with the intention to pay the day after at the same time during my checkout but the waitress came to my room door to ask me to sign the invoice with no excuses about the wait. Really bad experience.

« nice hotel but check the bill »

nice hotel. nice room which is very clean. Bath spaceful. Breakfast very good. A big selection. parking in my eyes too expensive but you do not have a chance to find near by a parking space where you pay nothing. when you book via Accor and you use your points than check the bill as in my case they forgot to take away that money. I discover only half day later. However they gave back the money without any discussion.

The stay was fine, but I am not happy that you have not released the "Reservation" amount on my credit card. This invoice 351274 dd. 24-OCT-19 should already been paid by Johnson & Johnson. I have already checked out on the morning of 24th October. Can you please release the amount as soon as possible? Thanks.

All the team is focused on the customer needs and very helpful anytime. They can speak many differnet languages, including French which is a bit an extra in that case for me. I will return for sure !

« Average. Nothing memorable. Dated fittings. Friendly reception »

Stay was OK. Nothing memorable that would make me want to stay there again. Fittings (e.g. toilet, sofa, TV) were quite dated and in need of an upgrade. Airport shuttle does not run 24 hours, so if you have an early flight like I did, expect to pay for a taxi. Reception staff very friendly.

« Poor communication »

Booking an extra day at this hotel involved two phone calls - at my cost from Australia.. This was because the hotel stated that they had no credit card details and if I did not arrive at the hotel by 2pm on the reservation day, the booking would be cancelled. EVEN WHEN I GAVE CC DETAILS I STILL RECEIVED CONFIRMATION WITH THIS 2PM RULE ON IT!! This may not have been a problem time-wise if the train we were on had not broken down 100 metres from Brussels airport and as a result of this we, and other passengers, were left on the train for FOUR HOURS before we were evacuated at 5pm. When I attempted to contact the hotel I spoke with a very unprofessional staff member who could not guarantee that our reservation would be honoured . It took another call two hours later to establish from another staff member that the reservation was intact. The hotel is using cheap and unreliable paper cups for making tea. My husbands cup broke and he subsequently burnt his wrist and the palm of his hand. I used the plastic water cups for a glass of wine and the cup SPLIT AT THE SEAM and it stained my clothes. We discussed with hotel manager and encouraged him to revert to glass and china cups.. This kind of cost cutting at the hotel is dangerous...

« Ideal park, sleep & fly »

Close to the airport and now sharing a larger shuttle bus with the Crown Plaza, the Novotel got even better as a park, sleep & fly option. Also, the parking is now free for 15 days (used to be 7) and therefore attractive during holiday period. I stayed in a renovated ground floor room with bathroom doors opening towards the bedroom. There is a bath and shower, the room is large enough for 2 adults and 2 children (sleepsofa). Great price/quality offering!

Clean room, nice and efficient people at the reception. Downside: dinner at the restaurant took almost 1 hour to be served. I was alone and had only ordered a veggie dish (nothing too fancy that could explain this delay). People around my table were complaining and some even left the restaurant before getting served.

Compliments for the staff at the reception. However, the people in the reaturant and the bar can use a customer friendliness training. I often travel a lot in hotels, this is the first time I have not tipped. After a day of work I was sent out of the restaurant at 10 pm because the tables had to be set for breakfast. When I arrived at the bar, people shouted for another 45 minutes then I close. When I entered the reaturant I had a unfriendly waiter, why I did not come over to him an just picked a table. Had to wait for a long time for my food, no worries I thought that I had enough time, untill I was sent out the restaurant because they are closing to prepare breakfast.
