We were not directed to the right Novotel: there are two at the airport. Little aid in finding the way to central Nice. No map or tourist info. We had to pay city tax, which was no previewed. They paid in small change to a 20 Euro bill.

We know taht , it's pretty confusing at the airport at the moment due to the renovation work in progress , it's gonna be way better very soon . Concerning the city tax policy , he product of tourist tax (taxe de séjour) is allocated to the development of tourism. It is collected by hotels or owners who then transfer to the city in which they are located, provided that the latter is recognized "tourist town" or "resort". The city will then be able to fund, for example, the production of a promotional brochure, tourist activities and the modernization of tourist spaces (museum, castle, etc.). But it can also be used to cover for the additional costs linked to the presence of tourists such as infrastructure and beach maintenance, seasonal workforce, etc. At Novotel, we strive to provide a superior service experience for every customer; therefore your feedback is very important to us. « My stay at your hotel was one of the worst hotel experiences of my life. »

My stay was miserable. The air conditioning unit in my room did not respond to thermostat changes, so the room was suffocating and hot. Since the window did not open, there was nothing I could do to relieve the situation. The room was also extremely small and claustrophobic. The hall from the door to the main area was so narrow that I could not navigate it with two suitcases, and I am a small woman. The sheets on the bed were old and very worn, the fabric was no longer smooth and as a result was extremely uncomfortable. The one good point was that the bathroom was clean.

Nothing special. Long waiting for shuttle to the hotel (approx. 20 min) Check-in more or less fast - problem with key activation. Check-out is effective. Shuttle to airport - has been asked to arrive to the lobby 15 min befor edeparture. The reason is not clear - so to cut 15 min from sleeping before 6 am - "for the convenience of the staff". The restaurant didn't not fit our needs for non-exotic kitchen. Overall - far from 4 stars, also comparing with other hotels of the chain.

Extremely helpful staff. I am fairly disabled and your staff were extremely helpful getting on and off the minibus to and from the airport. I requested a walk-in shower and the room I was given was really very comfortable and had a super walk-in shower. Very enjoyable breakfast too.

Right from the pickup at the airport which was delayed by 45 mins to the stay. Everything was wrong. The staff at check-in forgot to give welcome drink coupons , the fittings in room were broken The website claims that there is a shuttle every half an hour. In reality, one has to call the hotel. Doomed if you dont have a local number.

Welcome was poor by staff on reception, they weren't friendly, also lack of English, yes I understand we were in France but this is a International hotel. Room was very warm as the air conditioning wasn't good, kids had to share a bed at 16 and 11 years old. Only 2 mini milks in fridge and 2 coffee sachets, when my Daughter went to ask for more they stated they didn't have any coffee only milk? Pleased we only stayed a night.

We arrived late and were handed our room key immediately with no delay. Restaurant was about to close but the staff were great and did not rush us. In the morning the concierge arranged a taxi for us and it arrived very quickly

Very brief trip but lacking a few elements to make it comfortable. Staying in Room 701 which was generally clean and I always appreciate the bottle of water. The only unpleasant element there was a bad drain smell when running the tap in the bathroom. Cafe, bar area is not very relaxing. Needs to be more welcoming and maybe segregated a little. Breakfast was disappointing as looking at overcooked/burnt croissants and products really causes you to question the quality of other items.

Room was too small and poorly furnished. The airport shuttle was inadequate. We were left waiting unnecessarily and were late arriving at the airport as a result. The ONLY reason I booked at your hotel was it’s proximity to the airport and the expectation that a quick shuttle ride was available. My expectations were NOT met
