« Disappointed with parking issue »

Have stayed at here many times, twice a year,. You advertise parking, and have never had a problem before. We have now had it explained to us that you now rent out your parking spaces to city workers, therefore having only a few spaces for hotel guests. 4 spaces for however many rooms is unacceptable. Especially as you advertise parking. This needs to be amended on your website ASAP.

« Pleasant stay with a clean room. »

Breakfast was far better than back in April when food was not replenished. This time the food was a lot fresher and there was more of it. The room was clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. The major problem is accessing the car park. There is nowhere to park in front of the hotel before obtaining a parking pass. This time we were informed that the hotel only has 3 guest parking spaces with the rest of the hotel parking spaces being given over to local businesses. The main reason we have been using this hotel for many years is because we know there is safe parking for guests of the hotel. Now parking is a first come first served issue for your hotel guests we would have to think twice before staying with you again. We suggest that your hotel booking information needs to be updated to acknowledge your limited parking spaces now available for guests.

Friendly, welcoming staff. Room was basic, but very clean and comfortable. Bar and restaurant on site. Breakfast tasty and plentiful. Negative - this hotel has a safe underground car park, but no lift - had to park 3 storeys down and then take our luggage to Reception via 3 flights of stairs; pedestrian exit to outside and walk round building to Reception.

Disappointed in not having a Comfortable armchair in room and free tea making facility. like we had when visited an ibis in England earlier in the year. Parking was a little misleading as we thought it was on site parking to unload our suitcases was not easy and had to carry heavy suitcases up stairs from carpark.

« It's hard work to stay here »

The room was the 'best we have' it was changed from a rhird floor room, to a sixth floor room; without us asking for the change. The change happened whilst we were finding parking. Thw hotel has a car park, which we wanted to use but we were told 'it's full, maybe tomorrow'. Reception told us we could park in any street - not true some streets were tow-away zones. We got parking for the last night and were charged 8 Euro. Our room was clean, small, functional and had a good view, we were on the rear of the hotel so it was quiet. Breakfast was great. Very fresh vinnoiserrie, coffee, from a machine, a bit odd. Eat as much food as you like and encouraged to take a bit of fruit with you for eating later. The bar was a barn of an affair. No atmosphere, one or two people in at most. 70s brown decor with ild furniture. Had to wait an age for someone to come to us and another age for two berrs to arrive. We were told 'it will be five minutes', it wasnt, it was nearer ten. - for two beers! Staff were friendly, Receptionist seemed to spend as much time standing in front of the hotel smoking as she could: not a good look. There were several people at Reception when I checked in, it seemed full of friends of the person doing the work and I wasn't sure who was and wasn't staff. Check in was perfunctory to say the least, no 'welcome to Amiens' here. No offer of city map. Hotel seemed run down and a typical tired city centre place. Handy for Cathedral and restaurants and some bars. It was not an expensive hotel and I guess you get what you pay for.

We arrived late 10.30pm after a very long drive from Spain so the friendly and efficient checking in service was very welcome. Clean practical room and nice breakfast. Would stay again.

« Excellent location, very polite staff »

The staff were extremely polite, and the hotel was in a good location for town. The breakfast was fantastic, croissants, breads, ham, cheese and eggs with fresh fruit, coffee, tea and mini crepes available. We would definitely stay here again. The only downside was the mattress topper on the bed moved quite a lot in the night, although was very comfy. Also there's no kettle or coffee and tea making facilities in the rooms and it costs to use the coffee machine downstairs.

« Good breakfast but awful access »

We are a disabled flying charity and had checked that there were disabled rooms available. When we arrived at the hotel I went in and asked how our group would get in as there are 2 steps into the hotel. The receptionist produced 2 wooden ramps. So this got our group into the reception. However, the lift was 5 steps up from the reception - and the receptionist produced another pair of wooden ramps. This was absurd as the ramp was around 45 degrees slope and no disabled person could push up this slope. Do not advertise as disabled access. Breakfast was good. Would suggest the style or budget ibis for Amiens if you need disabled access.

We started badly in that, having received a text message seeming to suggest that we head to the car park on arrival, we were told on arrival that the car park was full. Unfortunately, that was the only piece of information provided by the receptionist: there was no information regarding wifi codes, location of breakfast room, hours of breakfast service, location of the lift to our room... The helpful staff on duty next morning retrieved the situation but our arrival was unfortunate - we had chosen the hotel because of the car parking facility.

« Good location and a room with a view »

Fairly easy to find. Parking space took a while as hotel carpark was full. Took even longer to locate the pay machine, (no helpful signage). Nice room with a lovely view of the cathedral. Easy walking to centre of town with all bars etc. Will use this hotel again when we next visit.

The hotel was centrally located. The rooms had everything except a kettle. The staff were friendly. The only problem was no lift to the car park. Otherwise fine.

The breakfast was good. We could not get in to the hotel car park the first night as it was full. The second night we could but two of the access cards didn't work. We had to be let in by the receptionist. The room keys did not work the second night and had to be reset.
