I was greeted warmly by reception (Anna, Lee and Norris). The restaurant staff are wonderful and nothing is too much trouble (Ugur, Nikolas, James, Aliva). Your chef Jarek provides delicious meals and well presented. Ola and her team are great and Kim is always helpful.

We discovered the Toilet to be uncleaned long after we had checked in. Being our first stay with Novotel, we were looking for a more befitting hotel room compared to Premier Inn. More importantly to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The breakfast meal serving Pots/bowls were horrible and eye sore to say the least. The coatings were completely peeled off the pot hence food were served from rusted metal bowl. The elevator/lift noise was similar to locomotive engine and shaking. Though the staff generally look welcoming and hospitable. Of particular note is Mr James who served us Dinner. But then, our room was rudely opened without a simple courtesy knock by a staff. This was quite shocking and embarrassing as we're half naked. Thank you.

The rooms were nice but housekeeping was terrible, our beds were barely made after 1 Night and the toilets weren’t cleaned! Plus toiletries weren’t replaced.

We enjoy staying at Coventry. Been going there a couple of years.we stay there on way to our family holiday and on way back . it is half way from our destination. Also I am happy that we can take our pet.clean and tidy staff are friendly too.look forward staying there next year

I arrived quite late with my young daughter, check in was extremely quick but the man behind the desk seemed a but detached - not very friendly. I had to ask how to get to the room. The room was good. Clean, modern and everything worked. The hotel was very quiet at night which was great. Breakfast was good except for the orange juice which wasn’t nice and undrinkable. Overall a great stay and I’d stay again.

The room was clean and comfortable, would stay again. The customer service experience was not great. I had booked breakfast at 7.95 pounds and informed the check in assistant( I was later told that he was the auditor). He said breakfast was not part of the booking but I showed him the booking confirmation email. He insisted that that would not be honoured and I would have to pay 10 pounds in the morning, and it was not negotiable. He also said that parking was 5 pounds although the website said it was free for residents. I paid parking at check in. To avoid any humiliation, I left without taking any breakfast only to discover that I had been charged the 7.95 pounds. I called the hotel and was told they would need to confirm with the kitchen that I had had no breakfast!!! Very humiliating but he promised to refund if breakfast wasn’t consumed, which he did. I then checked the website about the free parking, the arcorn website to be precise and called the hotel again. This has also been refunded. The assistant I dwelt with for the refunds was friendly and helpful, unlike the gentleman the night before. This hotel needs to honour their advertised rates.

Stayed four nights at Novotel with family. Standard of room was very good and the breakfast was excellent. Convenient parking and friendly staff. Couple of areas look a little tired such as inside the lift (battered ceiling), however our room and public areas in general were of a very good standard. Would certainly recommend and return. i was in room 142 it was very noisy with people passing our door all night. The store cupboard or room opposite was constantly being opened and shut then i was woken at 7am by a thudding noise. I got dressed to see what it was and 2people were using the treadmill in the gym next door to our room. I have stayed here numerous times in the lst 3 years but this has really put me off. I only asked for ground floor as myhusband is disabled and the last 2 times we have stayed the lift hasnt been working. I will not stay on ground floor again.

The hotel staff were all very accommodating. The rooms were pleasant. However, there were some issues concerning the dinner we ordered. Firstly we ordered cod and chips, after about 15 mins we received a duck dish. After some deliberation with waiter staff, and a few hunger pains we eventually received the cod and chips. Starters were of a good standard, and arrived as described. Apart from the culinary episode the overall experience was fine

I stay at this hotel quite often and find it to be good value for money and conventient . This time however there were some issues, firstly when entering the allocated room I found it already occupied, good that the current occupant wasn't in the room at the time or that could have been tricky. Thankfully I was quickly allocated another room but having booked Premium with Queen bed, to then be allocated a room with 2 singles pushed together is not particularly comfortable especially as the singles are not secured in any way so want to separate when ever they can. In future if the bed is 2 singles it should be described as such as I would have preferred not to have to fight to keep the bed in on piece. Apart from that the stay was perfectly fine.
