« Good stay for our family trip to an event at the arena. »

Very convenient for the Arena - about a 15 minute walk through an industrial estate - and matched my expectations for the price we paid for the rooms. I was surprised not to see anyone at reception when we arrived, and it was frequently unmanned. It would be good to have a bell or call system, or just a note to say someone will be with you shortly if this is standard practice. The staff all seemed helpful enough, the rooms had plenty of space and were clean. We had food delivered to our rooms, and it was fine, if somewhat over-salty (we had ordered pizza), and they had forgotten to send a drink we had ordered. Plenty of parking on site which was what had made me chose it over an AirBnB type option. Breakfast was good, reasonable variety and quality.

Check in with Anna and room were faultless but must say I was disappointed to be confronted over breakfast to be asked to go to reception mid meal as it was suggested I had not booked breakfast and then when I told the server I would sort it out later I wsa then approached again by a gentleman asking me for my email as evidence. Not the best of service and another couple in the restaurant on the adjacent table rather amused at my perils. At check out I needed to have the laptop on to evidence the email room plus breakfast.

« Good, but wasn't able to turn down heating. »

Hotel staff great, very good night's sleep. Only thing was I was unable to set the room temperature to less than 28 degrees. I kept changing it to 22 and saving the setting but after half an hour it would go back to 28. Opted to leave window open and turn A/C off.

We stayed for 1 night everything was perfect. The receptionist on Sat 25th when we arrived (cant remember her name) was exceptional and you should be proud to have her on your team. James who served us at the bar and for breakfast was very nice and couldn't do enough for us. Thank you for a pleasant stay wish it was longer.

Waited ages for someone to check me in on arrival. Carpets and paintwork make the hotel look scruffy. Beds are good and showers great! Food ok but drinks expensive

Member of staff when we checked in on Friday evening was very pleasant and very helpful. All other staff were absent from locations one would expect to find them, slow to react to basic requests and inconsistent. Lift was broken down on the Friday which was a considerable in convenience for us and once working again felt like it was about to fail at any moment. "Twin" room beds were too close together and sheets on one were stained with lipstick the first night. We attempted to order sandwiches from the room service menu on the Friday night and were told by a member of staff that only pizza and sandwiches were available, it was unclear what was special or different about the particular sandwiches order that failed to qualify against the staff member's particular secret criteria. This lead us to have to drive out for fast food. Showers were weak in flow and it was not possible to change the temperature at all from a consistent lukewarm. Towels were small and thin and we had to repeatedly request extra from room service. Fruit juices at breakfast were at room temperature and disgustingly syrupy.

Very pleased with room, having a little fridge was brilliant and unexpected. Very clean, spacious and comfy. Air con very much appreciated. Not having a/c may have been an issue as cigarette smoke could have come in as we were near the outside smoking point.
