« Friendly staff - clean but small room - poor food »

1) Friendly staff everywhere: desk bar restaurant 2) Rooms are clean but remain small to Novotel standards (even when upgraded). Bathroom toilet is so close to the wall you cannot sit straight! 3) Food is a real disappointment for an international venue. I didn’t enjoyed the Dutch reinterpretation of some Italian dishes (same applied to my neighbor with Indian one)

The room was clean, but small for the amount of money to pay for a room. The restaurant is ok but te staff taking to long to come to your table. The food was esspecialy the Angus burger not hot, the fries were old, the pizza was frozen in de middle en even the next one was cold, nearly frozen. After staying in the hotel the parking lot was extra en not included in the hotel cost, so sorry to see this lack of service.

We stayed at the Novotel in Amsterdam for two nights. It was well located and our room was really nice. We enjoyed the food and drink in the restaurant and cafe on the ground floor and the staff were incredibly helpful.

hotel is clean, well looked after and the omelettes at breakfast truly delicious! I also remember one of the breakfast waiter (a black guy) being so professional and providing a fantastic service I've never seen before. he, for example, volunteered to re-fill the orange juice jar and after that he brought it to me stating how important for him it was to make sure I was being well served, and that his job depended on me being happy......wow.....this still exists in the world today.

I didn't have any soap or shower gel in the room, just shampoo. I was staying only for one night so I used shampoo as soap and didn't want to call reception for this. It was a double room but the space between two single beds put together was too big, for couples it is too much and if meant for two singles sharing a same room than too close! To flush the toilet you have to close the lid to reach the flush button which strikes more as a design/space problem and not intentionally made this way to force you close the lid for hygiene purposes or whatever. I know it is a popular hotel close to Amsterdam Rai so I understand it is busy, but this also means at check in and check out guest have to form queues and wait which doesn't feel privilaged at all. You can say guest could use fast check out for example but in my case I had to wait for the queue because I paid deposit with my debit card and had to get in line since I have to get it back as cash. speaking of that I know it is procedure but it is a meaningless procedure if I'm using my debit card: 70 euro collateral insurance blocking before stay and to be returned after stay, when this is made by credit card ok make sense you block it and return after a while after checking etc, but I was using my debit card which makes the process like this: I pay 70 before I stay and at check out I get 70 euro in cash. Although process went ok no complaints about that, just questioning logic because I got the money back before anyone checked my room so what's the point of having it as collateral if you are not going to check? Having a coffee machine and water in the room was plus. room was sufficiently big and furniture wasn't old or damaged.

« Nice new room in accessible location (close to trainstation, metroline into the city) »

The hotel staff was nice and friendly. The room was clean and newly decorated. The location of the hotel is very easy to travel to. Trains from and to the Airport stop at the nearby trainstation and the new Noord-Zuid metro line is 10 minutes walk from the hotel. It takes you into the center within minutes.

« I think you are quite successful, but you appreciate there are points still can be progressed »

I stayed 4 nights with bed and breakfast. Stuff was excellent ( kind helpful and slightly distant as it supposed to be). My room was with a double bed. Refri was empty and the cover inside was dismounted, I inserted it , probably a curious client has made it. There was a bottle of drinking water, I thought it might be your complimentary but could not be sure and do not touch it. I think I saw on other Accr Hotels, You can name is as complimentary if it is, even 1 free bottle of water per day besides your excellent nespresse compliment would be good idea. My room number was 328 and There was a significant stain on the couch, there still might be, probably a careless clint made it , but it was disturbing, maybe prior to arrival of new customer a stain remover might help. I dunno if it is related with number of stars but putting a one use-tooth brush and tooth paste, a comb,a pair of slippers for after shawer might be good idea. Also I appriciate you do not find it hygenic but not having a toilet brush is also not hygenic. I saw your notificartion of that can be provided by reservation desk if it is required, but please think on an alternative solution. The rest was great, I really spent great time, I was there for a business summit there and I thought spending a weekend there would also be so nice, Hopefully I will do it one day Best Regards Tuna O.
