The stay was very good, and the hotel is located in a good location. We stay all the time in Novotel and this hotel was as good as the others. Service was good and there was ample parking indoor on their own ground. In and out of the car park was regulated with a coin which was available in the reception. There was gym and swimming pool.

The stay itself was fine. However, what's the point of checking in online in advance if I still have to go through all the moves upon arriving at the hotel. The credit card details I provided online were apparently not available to the hotel staff, so I had to provide my credit card information again, resulting in hassle, extra time and frustration for doing this twice.

When checking in to the hotel I was informed that breakfast was included. I ate breakfast 2 of the 3 days I stayed at the hotell. When checking out and receiving the invoice the hotel have charged me for breakfast all 3 days and also on the 3rd they they have charged me double, and I didn't even eat breakfast that day. I'm extremely dissatisfied with this treatment of regular guest. I have stayed several times at this hotel the last year.

Altghough I stayed at least ten times before in this hotel the check-in it took more than 20 min. and I had to go to the room and back 3 times till I could get inside. The receptionist wrote/ said the wrong room number. So, after more then half an hour from the arrival I got in the room. No bottled water in the room in both nights. The sink sewage not working properly. In rest ok...

I had several issues throughout my stay the suite in Novotel, Mumbai. Firstly, I got a late check in at 4 pm, while I was already at the hotel at 2 pm. The automated confirmation email that was sent to me mention that the tariff is prepaid and zero balance is due on the day of the stay. I didn't carry my card during my arrival, the front desk informs me that the card has declined because it was a debit card and only credit cards are accepted. The front desk kept calling my room for the payment and seemed extremely paranoid and restless about it. The flaw here is in the wrong automated confirmation email. Your system shouldn't allow a debit card information to be comfirmed if you only allow credit cards, and I should be informed about the due balance prior to my arrival, not during the day of my vacation. Secondly, the mini fridge wasn't working in our "luxury" suite. The hotel replaced the fridge but that didn't seem to be working either. I couldn't possibly spend my day calling the operator and complaining about the mini fridge. Our main reason for the one-day vacation was to bring in a relatives bithday at midnight. A few guests had come over to cut the cake, but the staff kept disturbing our celebration and asked our guests to vacate due to their policies of "no guests after 10 pm". No policy can jeopordize someone's birthday celebration, especially after paying 20,000 for the day. Every hotel's primary policy is to be hospitable, this hotel wasn't. I witnessed a lot of guests from different rooms complaining about the service, some even arguing and fighting with front desk. I spoke to several other guests and we all had the same problems. I felt like I stayed at a three star shady hotel. The birthday was ruined, so was our day. I would never like to renew my membership. Hotel was nice however had issues with the bathroom door knob falling out and the AC not able to kept the room cool during heat wave. Employees were nice and tried to support the hotel. Breakfast was good.

Identical in all respects to the last Novotel I stayed in somewhere in France, down to the location of the restaurant, bar and conference rooms. Rooms a bit cramped, bathrooms especially, food fine if overpriced. €20 for a burger is pushing it. Despite the forgoing I actually like these places, I'm not bothered about the boutique experience and the manager pretending to be my best friend. The anonymity suits me fine.

It was a pleasure to stay at Novotel Breda. Many hotels proclaim an environmental policy in terms of towels, bedding and cleaning - and do not follow their policies. This is one hotel that honestly followed its environmental policy. Hotel well-situated and well-maintained. I would welcome the addition of a fitness centre. I recommend Novotel Breda to my colleagues.
