It was very nice for Family w/ Children as usual, we like to stay Accor group Hotel. One unfortunate point is that very busy situation around Reception area due to big group, it was difficult to path this area due to many luggage and people who are waiting others. I think Hotel Staff should ask them to stay one dedicate space because they didn't care us and another Family. this mean is that they didn't apologize and help us even though they are blocking situation... In addition, we recognized they drop Food, plastic and paper garbage in the Floor around their desk. I can understand that is part of Culture different, but we were not so happy and comfort w/ these dirty situations. I don't know Hotel Policy against these Customer and situations, but I think should be cleaned by these Customer or Hotel staff accordingly and immediately. At least we Japanese felt uncomfortable situation, really bad surprise.

« Not as good as usual »

I am staying at the Novotel Bussigny for more than 10 years frequently. It is getting more and more complicated: - I need to register the WiFi each time and I think you change the modus every year... as a frequent guest it makes sense just to register once for laptop and phone! The main reason I come is because its convenient! - I like your preference for Tesla. But I do not have a Tesla and I do not intend to guy one! - You do not have sufficient parking space anymore in general but in particular because of this Tesla non-sense and also because you block other spaces: The main reason I come is because its convenient! - You put a Skidata gates now at entry (which is good because I work for Kudelski who own Skidata). But why? You seriously think someone stays on your parking not staying at your hotel? Its another thing not very convinient to make sure not to forget the parking ticket etc! - Your checkin got 10x worse over last years and not having a proper reception is maybe cool but not very efficient! Also sometime I wait 5+ minutes before someone realises that there is someone... you are not a cheap low value internet hotel, so I would expect that someone is at reception until e.g. midnight

« Satisfactory room, nice dinner, breakfast was a letdown and despite telling them three times, they still think I am a Mr... »

I stay at the Bussigny Novotel for work purposes as its convenient to my office. The hotel is clean, the rooms are functional and satisfactory and some of the processes are becoming easier for check in/out etc. For me, the real letdown is the breakfast, not a lot of healthy choices, and they have those horrible freeze dried eggs, so basically its a scrambled egg soup type of thing. Otherwise the upside is that the staff are friendly, there is a free drink on arrival (beer, water, juice etc) which is nice.

« Very friendly staff »

Overall, we had a good stay. We came at the end of October and had warm weather and unfortunately there was no air conditioning available in the rooms so we opened our window wide at night but we were facing the back area where people step outside to smoke so that was discouraging especially since we have kids that we try to keep away from the smoke. We stayed for 6 days and the breakfast was quite bland to begin with. I wish there was an omelette station or more options. We never once had a problem with the staff. They were great! The little kids area in the main lobby was so nice.

« Favorite hotel in the area »

This is my favorite place to stay when in the area, great location, service etc, etc However on this stay to my surprise I was very disappointed with the service of the restaurant for breakfast, I paid with the 5 day reservation for breakfast and on the only day we went for breakfast asked for 2 fried eggs instead of boiled or scrambled and was told I would have to pay an additional 20 Swiss Francs as they were not part of the buffet, I said I would pay if no other choice and Yoan brought them with a bill for 10 Swiss Francs, not the amount but the principle. Very sad especially as all other aspects were as good as over years when visited.

« Nice room and hotel, need the extra ouch to be better »

Overall we had a good experience. The room was big enough and parking was close to the room. The extra water bottle was nice too. What we think should have been improved was the air-condition not working (just blowing wind), even after asking for maintenance to fix it, it did not work. The fridge was not cooling at all and out of 3 nights, in 1 we did not get enough towels (after calling reception, they were supplied quickly).

« Great one night stay »

Very nice facilities and service. We had an executive room at the top floor with the balcony. The room is very nice and well laid out. Very quiet and very enjoyable. The bed is excellent, lots of pillows and very comfortable mattress. The tea/coffee making facilities are great, except there were no cups/mugs for tea. We noticed lots of plastic bags used for rubbish beans. Not sure if this is needed. What is the point of a bin if you have to then use plastic to protect it? The spa facilities are tiny but well equipped, not sure if those are enough when there are more than 3-4 people. Overall, we are very pleased with the stay.

The hotel is located 15 minutes walk from Bussigny train station and is also just off the motorway between Geneva airport and Sion. The hotel is therefore the best option for business if you are in that area.

I am a club Accor member since 2013. I have stayed at your hotel at least two to three times a year. I have never been given such a bad room (Rm 139) which looks straight into the parked cars. When I returned to the receptionist to require a room in a higher floor with a better view he said he couldn't and moved me to room 138! The housekeeping was also very bad and did not improve until I complained on the last day. It was definitely not up to your usual standards

It was an overall average experience. Rooms were dated, carpets had an old smell, the lobby was very modern and updated, however it had a strong room deodorant.

« Outdated rooms - No real cooking anymore - friendly staff »

This hotel is proposing a very different check-in / out experience with removal of the reception desk and process done via smartphone. It is quick efficient but after 3 days I still don't have my bills and I don't know how much I had to pay.... Then ordering food via room service was quickly delivered but obviously assembled and reheated from the service staff not cooked freshly. The room were still teh very old one not updated while the lobby has been refurbished many times. Strange concept to me, I prefer other big brands like Marriott / Hyatt vs Accor.
