This was not planned and we got the door repaired as quickly as we could as we were waiting on parts from Brisbane. I am happy to advise that this is now fixed and guests can easily access our property. Staff incredible. Room really good. Arrived on a Friday very tierd after travelling all day. Couldn’t use the restaurant as it was closed for a big group. Then went to book our second night as not open on weekends. We then couldn’t use our drink voucher either night ! Staff very helpful and bought a drink to our room. Lift broke down both days. Had to take all our luggage including a swag down 3 flights of stairs. Again staff so apologetic.

This is the 25th year in a row that I stayed at the Verona Hotel in Mt Isa. I keep coming back to stay because the room is clean and well presented and the staff are helpful and friendly. The hotel is well located in the main part of the Town and the tariff is very reasonable.
