While doing the checkin, I was told to give a credit card to pre-authorize the stay. Once I told the receptionist that the stay was prepaid, she did not trust me. I showed email from William, the guy that did the reservation for me through email (because for some reason my card was failing all the time through), saying that the stay was paid, but that was not enough. Then I showed another email from Accor hotels, explicitly showing the total amount, how much was already paid and how much was left to pay ($0.00), but that was also not enough, because "it was not on the hotel system". Finally, I had to print my credit card statement showing the hotel charges, along with other, private purchases, but that was the only way the receptionist kind of believed me. I say kind of, because she said she would check with financial advisors on Monday, which means even with all the numerous proofs that I paid, she was not believing me. I'm staying again this Sunday, April 29th. If they ask me again the same questions, believe me this will reach Accor management. It's an unacceptable behavior from a receptionist to show this level of disbelief of what a client is saying, especially after showing proofs that what he says is true.
