« Fin another hotel! »

Very poor reception experience. On arrival at 12:30 am (late flight) was told that we had to wait 10 minutes to check in (system switching over!). Did not get any recognition of my program membership (e.g. room up-grade, free drink, gift etc.). Even though I booked using points when I got home and reviewed my bank account I found that I had been charged for the full room rate. When I called I was told that they had already noticed the mistake and would refung me the difference but it might take uo to 10 working days!!. No apology for the mistake. When we went for breakfast we were told that we were not on the list - that nobody was in the room we stayed in. On arrival I was given a parking ticket fro my car which I had got to go back out to (in the rain and cold) and place ticket in windscreen.

During the night hours the system does have to restart and reboot hence some delay. All your issues will be addresed immediately as they are not our normal standard of service. The receptionist was very nice and helpful. I got all the information I need, she asked me for a choice of the room, whether I wanted on the Ground floor or higher. The room is quiet despite being on a noisy road.

The room had a strong smoke smell and on entry the window was open and the room was very cold. The heater got it warm eventually but there was none in the shower room which left it very cold.

« Nice staff and good value for money »

My wife had to stay an extra night at hotel and I asked staff if we can have a special rate due to circumstances and we are staying there regular but that was not possible. They could have been more understanding about it. We were very annoyed about this matter. We are even thinking not to return to hotel and stay somewhere else that means at least 20 days of not staying in your hotel.

« Expensive for the standard of room. »

The room was clean but felt grubby. There was a strange smell, like pee mixed with air freshener, in all 3 rooms we saw. The TV was very old and so was the decor. It needed renovation. Staff were polite and helpful and the breakfast was good, although not worth €10.50. Tea and coffee sachets in room were generous.

We've stayed with you several times in the past and have never had a problem before but on this occasion after having been to a show in the city we decided to return to the hotel and have a drink in the bar. We got back at 11.15pm to be told by the guy on reception and the barman that the bar was closed and we could not get a drink, even though there were other guests drinking in the reception area. Our understanding was that the bar would be open until midnight as had been the case previously, this was also confirmed by the the receptionist on check-out. It would appear that the barman can close the bar when it suits him and not the guests. Next time we'll just stay in the city where services are for the benefit of the guests and not at the discretion of the staff.

I stayed in Ibis Dublin before and it was a good experience. But this time I booked a twin bed Room ( two separate single beds ) but instead they gave me double bed room. This room’s washroom bathing area was not good as this bathroom was designed in accordance with the wheelchair use. And I never asked for it. Even than I compromised on that and asked for an extra mattress but instead they gave me an extra quilt and a bed sheet NO MATTRESS. I had my exam tomorrow it was really frustrating as I was with my friend. Kindly look into it doesn’t happen to anyone in future. Thanks

A safety issue getting from Luas Red Cow stop to the hotel. Access not very easy. Apart from that I enjoyed the stay. Hotel is clean and staff very nice. Continental breakfast could be a bit better. I use IBIS in other countries and find the service very good.

The Accord Hotels app reset my reservation date to the date I was booking, then when I went to confirm my booking before arriving to the hotel the day had already past and my booking and money were gone. After ringing I was told there was nothing I could do but make another reservation and pay for another room. I stay in the Ibis on ever travel to Dublin I am a regular customer. Needless to say I will never be using them again.

This is a wonderful hotel and the best Ibis that I have stayed in for a long time. It is comfortable, the staff are helpful/friendly, easy to get to from the Motorway, the rooms are spacious and the bathroom is clean. Parking is right outside the door. The bar and restaurant are excellent value. I have stayed before but this time it really impressed me. Keep up the good work.
