« Fantastic stay! »

Stayed in many Ibis hotels in France and always a great stay. Nice but compact rooms, huge comfy beds, big tv and nice bathroom. Excellent breakfast and very friendly staff. Nice bar area with comfortable seating and a lovely seating area outside. Great sandpit play area if you have small childrenbtoo

Hôtel is correct with good location not far from business place. Small but convenient room. Breakfast just ok. Unfortunately, the bar is closed at 11.00 PM. Free car park is well appreciated as hotel is away from city center.

The reception desk provided old school French hospitality: unwelcoming on arrival and too busy staring at a computer screen to say anything on departure. Otherwise the room was clean and comfortable and breakfast was good.

As a Club Accor member there was no one at the Accor Card check in desk, I was not expected and I had to ask for my drinks voucher. I went down to breakfast at 0900 and a lot of the food had gone and not been replenished, I had to ask for more jam. Not a very good offer and certainly not as good a breakfast as at a Kyriad hotel.

Rooms are small but functional. Room had a faint smell of smoke. I did not request a room change. Our 2nd room was fine. Hotel is located in a remote area. Options for dining is limited and we ate at the hotel restaurant. The staff was overwhelmed and service was slow. However, the food was good and a good value.

We had booked overnight including dinner. We were told on arrival that dinner was not available as the chef was ill and we were advised to find a restaurant elsewhere. One suggestion was made for a chain that we knew from experience would not be acceptable. I think a 3 star hotel offering dinners should always be able to meet its advertised product. The bedroom was tiny - the bathroom also. Again this was not 3 star standard. I think Ibis need to reconsider its product if it continues to believe that visitors, particularly international, will find this standard suitable for such a rating. On the plus side the location was very quiet (it was a weekend so nearby offices were empty).

A comfortable stay & breakfast was very good. Being able to boil our own eggs was a nice touch. Missed out on dinner due to a sudden staff shortage but we did find a good meal locally.

Friendly, comfortable hotel for a stopover or short break. Quite a distance from city centre but handy for major roads. Good restaurant (better than the usual Ibis) and friendly staff. Secure and roomy car park.

We were happy with the hotel and the staff but we're disappointed with the breakfast. Thee coffee machine was broken and the coffee in jugs virtually cold.

« All you need for an overnight stay but very small rooms. »

The rooms are smaller than I am used to from my experience with other Ibis hotels. Sufficient space if you are on your own but for two people it is a bit of a squeeze. Otherwise it is fine. I was pleased to see that there were no bathtubs but showers. Breakfast was plenty. At the back of the hotel at the kitchen exit, there was a bit of a mess. When walking around the building you could not avoid seeing this.

Stayed here a few times recently, which means we always get a friendly welcome from reception, the bar and the restaurant. It's a very peaceful and relaxing place to be, especially for an overnight stop.

« Good beds in Ibis, but restaurant not good for evening meal. »

We have chosen Ibis for many years, because the rooms are comfortable and standardised. This occasion, we chose to eat in the restaurant in the evening, and it was poor quality food for such a big chain hotel. We are unlikely to chose to eat an evening meal there ever again.

Had one night here en route to La Dordogne. Room small and bathroom tiny. But having said that, the staff were all very friendly and helpful. Situated on an industrial type of estate outside the town

The room was the smallest hotel room I have ever stayed in. It was cramped, dirty and uncomfortable. The tv did not work. Basics like a dustbin in the room did not exist, probably because it would take up too much space/there was nowhere to put it. Cleaning of the room was poor, as was the bathroom. The wall beside the toilet had obvious faeces marks on it, again probably because of its cramped conditions. Breakfast was good but room was just uncomfortable and oppressive. I asked for the option for a lighter duvet but none was available. Again, this added to the discomfort of staying in the room. No hand towels in bathroom. Overall, not a venue that I will return to. Spent the night before in Ibis Castres and it was excellent, proving that your chain can get it right.

Our second time at this hotel, it's a real pleasure to visit because the staff are helpful and friendly. We particularly enjoyed the restaurant, which has a concise menu of good food, well cooked.

« Humble hotel, calm with a real sense of service »

You might drive beside this hotel without thinking about resting there. But I assure you: this hotel is a perfect place to rest, to dinner. The staff knows what 'Service' means and the hotel (incluing room) is very clean. Perfect place to rest with real peace on tiny budget.

« Average & temperature too hot »

It was 28 degrees outside for both of the days of my stay; but it was not possible to turn on the airco. Apparently in this hotel it is either airco or heating; and the mornings were still a little chilly so there could only be heating. Though it was still 20 degrees outside in the evening so even with an open window it was hard to sleep in this temperature. The breakfast was good. It's a nice idea to be able to boil eggs in the machine, but it would be more practical if something was provided to remove the hot eggs from the hot "spoon" that goes into the boiling water; or a bowl of cold water next to it to cool the egg down. There were some clear signs of need for renovation in the room; e.g. rusty edge on the mirror where the silicone comes loose; the hair dryer looks like a vacuum cleaner and you hold it on the tube where hot air passes through so this means after a few minutes it becomes too hot to hold and you need to wait a long time to continue drying your hair; the toilet lid cannot close if there is a full toilet paper roll because the toilet is too close to the wall/ roll holder; no electricity points on the bedside table (everyone charges his smartphone daily nowadays and preferably closeby for the alarm clock etc). The bed was comfortable. But also due to the hot temperature it would be nice to have one sheet without duvet in it to sleep under.
