I booked from the app to pay at the hotel, and the room was fine, very comfortable. However, I was startled to find €120 debited on my account as soon as I booked - nearly twice the price I was expecting to pay on arrival. When I questioned it I was told that it was blocked, not debited, to see if I could afford the room, and/or in case I damaged the room. No authority was sought from or given by me for this. Not impressed.

We keep coming back as it is conveniently placed for our drive from UK to SW France, a pleasant hotel with a comfortable bed.

Did not book just arrived , very helpful reception , quiet in spite of the location next to A20 , best nights sleep due to beds , no tea/coffee in room , bath difficult to exit as prefer shower , extensive breakfast , hotel looks tired

Good place to stay to meet people at Limoges airport the next morning. Bed could be better, it had a hollow in the mattress on one side.

Poor customer service. Compared to other Ibis hotels and Ibis budget, this one is very poor indeed. No atmosphere. Staff not interested in guest experience. Fingernails found on carpet in bedroom. No plug for the bath. Doors slam even when trying to close carefully. Woken at 7.30 by loud humming noise and vibration. Possibly kitchen ventilation. Rooms are very hot. Young man on front desk at check out had to speak through his yawning. Looked scruffy and as if he had just woken up. Was only an overnight stay but I wouldn’t bother going back if I was in the area again. The place is soulless. Plus side, there’s a free car park. I’d try a nearby hotel.
