excellent apart from the fact that on examining my bill, I had been charged for 2 breakfasts when in fact my wife and I had not taken breakfast during our overnight stay. I did not notice this oversight until I examined my bill later in the day.

I've stayed at this hotel many times and usually enjoy my stay. The car park is enclosed and feels safe. The newly refurbished rooms have are a real boost and the new charging cubes are a real asset. The restaurant has a reasonable selection on offer, the ratatouille starter was delicious. Best of all the staff are welcoming and friendly- look after Gaël,what an asset! Some minor details- with so many English speaking travelers is it not reasonable to have English channels on the TV? In the restaurant is it unreasonable to expect real potato chips (frites) instead of frozen? Otherwise a good stopover.

Lovely hotel with good sized bedrooms which includes 2 areas to hang clothes. One problem in room 207 was the slow drain off of water in the sink. Apart from that the rooms were excellent. The hotel public areas were again excellent. All the staff were most helpful and friendly. The evening meal was first class as was the breakfast.

Have stayed at this Ibis in the past. Will do so again. The hotel is now looking dated, against some of the updated hotels. As always here the restaurant is very good quality value for food and service.

I do not think it is fair to share poor scores online without allowing the company or organisation in question being given the opportunity to resolve the issue. Hence why I have not entered a subject matter. This is despite my complete dissatisfaction with the hotel we stayed at when travelling to south west France. If not resolved quickly I will not hesitate to take matters further and post as many negative reviews as possible I gave my card as a guarantee for the nights stay which I fully understand is normal. What is not normal is to debit the card 200€ at 1.15am in the morning and then charge me for my room and meal again at check out. Having contacted the hotel through your UK customers services we were told this is normal and they will refund the card. This in my experience is not normal, and I have stayed at pretty low grade hotels as well as expensive hotels and this has never, ever happened to me or my wife. To me this is not a guarantee but debiting of my debit card. I have further been told it could take 2 days to six weeks to have the money repaid? That’s simply not acceptable in the modern world. For clarity we were not told that 200€ would be debited, if we had we would have paid upfront rather than have to ask for our money back and have to wait for it to be refunded. No figure was mentioned or that the guarantee would mean money being debited from our accounts whilst asleep. To make matters worse your manager is insulting my intelligence by suggesting this is normal, using that logic it is possible that if I stayed at several hotels In quick succession I could be owed £1000s at any one time for ‘guarantees’ or that they could simply debit whatever they amount they fancied. I still do not know why 200€ was assessed at the amount to debit from my card at 1.15am I have raised my complaint on Monday evening with your customer services asking for this to be escalated and still await a reply. Not a great way to start the major annual family holiday and I am still trying to get it resolved Robert m.

To this end, we also confirm that the amount was closed without any debit on August 19, 2019 at 02:39. We can of course send you the closing ticket. We understand your displeasure and we apologize again. However, we need to check the credit cards used by customers to see if they are valid or not. This is a procedure that is in effect in our hotel. friendly staff, comfortable rooms and nice meal. Pet friendly, easy to find but not walking distance to town centre. Pleasant terrace area for having a drink. Free private parking. There is a park nearby to walk my dog which was about fifteen minutes walk.
