« It was a comfortable stay in a great location to see the Musee des Confluences. »

The room was very clean, the bed was comfortable, the front desk and staff ranged from helpful to indifferent.

Overall very good. Excellent even. There was one glitch. It wasn't made clear to me at check-in that breakfast was included and so I missed out on breakfast. This was very unfortunate because I assume the room rate is higher. In addition if breakfast is included in the room rate as stated in my bill i get 30% deducted from my per diem and so I paid twice for something i didn't receive. And a shame since I heard the breakfast is good. I suggest giving guests a written note saying what is included (for example i had a mini bar and would be nice to know what would be replenished). The breakfast mix up caused me a lot of frustration but was the only thing that marred my experience.

The room was pretty clean, the safe broke on 2 occasions (it stopped locking despite the door being properly pushed closed). Some of the staff were really helpful; one helped me book a restaurant as I could not speak French, but there was another evening when several members of staff were quite rude to me as they had made a taxi booking for me but for the wrong number of people; as it wasn't possible to get another taxi to arrive in time to take the extra people, the reception staff told me "it's not possible", dismissed me, ignored me and refused to help me further. We ended up getting an Uber instead because the reception staff were so unwilling to help. It also meant we couldn't trust that the hotel staff would successfully book a taxi for us in future. What if we had been on our way to the airport and had missed our flight because the hotel staff were rude?! As I was staying for business reasons, I required an invoice with the correct company name and address on it in order to claim expenses. Upon checking out, I was told that I should have given the address at check in (even though no one asked or told me this at check in, and it was obvious I was there for business reasons) and that it was difficult to change. The man at reception was able to change the address, but it was still incorrect. Whilst myself and several of my colleagues were checking out at the same time, the man at reception started being rude about us in French to his colleague - but we could understand what he was saying. I might advise that you ask for an invoice address/customer address on check in, rather than trying to get guests to do the fast check out. Fast check out poses problems for business customers. At the very least, having your reception staff being a bit more understanding would have helped.

I found your reception staff unhelpful on the two of the three occasions i had interacted with them. We requested they book a taxi for a group of us. On arrival for our taxi it was discovered that the wrong number of passengers had been communicated from reception to the taxi company (we had asked correctly). Reception dealt with this is a confrontational manner and were visibly angry with us, depite the error clearly being on their part. There was no attempt to apologise for the error, only exasperation and anger from the reception staff. The second was at check out; when asking for the invoice address to be added (this is a company policy for us and is never an issue for other hotels) they were clearly annoyed at the request and talked about us in an unprofessional manner in our presence (we understand French and found this very rude).

This is my second time organizing an event with the hotel, and everything went very smoothly. Staff very helpful and present when needed and the facilities are modern and easy to use. Location is ideal as it is close to train stations, tram lines, and the highway for airport transfers.

Things were as expected. One comment only: heating was set too high and no option to start the air conditioning since it is not yet the season. Option to open the window, but then quite some noise from the busy cross-roads. Please consider setting the heating temperature in the rooms 2 C less.

A great hotel for a stopover. The hotel was clean, the staff were friendly and extremely helpful. The room was spacious and the bed was so comfortable, we had a fabulous night’s sleep. We had our evening meal in the restaurant and while the menu is limited we were able to find something to eat. Food is limited for vegetarians

The staff were nice and helpful at reception. However our bedrooms was extremely small for 2 adult and 2 kids despite I booked a family room and paid more money. There was literally no space in between our bed and the sofa bed so my husband climbed up to our bed over the sofa bed to get into our bed. There was only one dust bin in the room which was again wasn’t enough and no face towels in bathroom- only bath towels. The breakfast selection was very poor, no variation each day in terms of pastries. Coffee machine was not nice and very watery coffee came out. Limited selection of fresh fruit if you didn’t like can fruits which is not acceptable in a four star hotel.
