« Lovely comfortable hotel. »

Staff are welcoming and friendly and eager to help. Rooms are clean, comfortable and thankfully very quiet. Breakfast is very busy and food not particularly hot but plenty of things to choose from. Would always choose this hotel.

Everything is very very good but We booked the taxi from reception and paid cash in advance for trs to gatwick airport. Time of Taxi was booked for 7.30 AM but taxi not came.Then reception person call to taxi company and they told it is coming 8.10. But again it was not came. At last taxi came at 8.40.It is very frustrating.

« A nice stay »

I was here for the second time in a year, location is very convenient since it is close to my company's offices. The reception and common areas are really nice, the rooms and corridors (mainly) could benefit from some renovation. My room's sink was not working very well (water was not draining properly) and I found a little strange that the cleaner did not notice it and alerted the reception. Breakfast is great and personnel is very helpful and nice. Overall, a good experience.

The lobby and bar area is great. Bright, new, friendly, etc. Upon opening the door to my assigned room i was met with a horrible door. I immediately changed rooms. The second room was fine. The hallway was cluttered with housekeeping carts and bags of garbage the housekeeping team was collecting from the various rooms. The hallway carpets were stained and looked very old/dirty.

My wife and I had stayed at Novotel London west previously and we find all Novotel hotel rooms very spacious for our needs so we stayed again due to its location but this particular time it took us 3 attempts to get the right room firstly we booked a double room and got to single beds together then the second attempt was 2 single beds apart in a standard room not a superior room which we booked. It was only after the 3rd attempt we finally got the right room. Mind you this was going up and down the lifts numerous times and this was after a long 24 hour flight from Australia. Also we noticed that it took nearly 2 full days to remove a room service breakfast tray from outside a room,this is not a good look for Novotel.

2 Complaints 1. Blood or something like it on ceiling of Room 2. One night there was a wedding party and could not sleep. I was on third floor above venue and room was shaking to the music and the DJ. No one ansewered my calls to reception and fronnt desk and eventually I had to go down to complain. The party finally ended at Midnight but I lost a lot of sleep.
