Check in very long: no queuing system and therefore people coming from everywhere at random and always pushing themselve to the reception desks. Desks understaffed (only two desks available) and unefficient processing of credit card Room unfortunately a bit worn; safety lock of door loose.

« Excellent location »

Easy to find this hotel as it's a 5 minute walk from Hammersmith Tube station with easy access to the whole of London. Lovely and modern inside, with an excellent bar and restaurant. Breakfast was plentiful including pancakes and waffles with the usual array of cold and cooked breakfast items. The room was large and clean, although the bathroom door did not shut properly. We had to change rooms on the second day due to a problem with the hot water. Took a while to pack everything and find the new room so we lost a little time. Expected to be compensated for the inconvenience but were not, when I asked at reception about this we were reluctantly given a free drinks voucher. Such a shame as would have given 5 stars otherwise.

We have stayed in this Novotel before and thought it was amazing the first time and it has not changed one bit. The staff, rooms, bathrooms, breakfast and overall service is amazing. From the second you walk in to the minute you leave the hotel. Forever grateful for the service the staff give us, they make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. Breakfast is amazing, plenty of options and the food is excellent. If you're looking for a hotel slightly out the centre of London then this hotel is perfect. 25 minute journey to the centre of London is brilliant if you want to be in a more quiet area of London but also have quick access to the sights. Cannot reccommend enough, brilliant hotel. The staff are a credit. Thank you Novotel London West we will be staying again :)

Dirty room, filthy carpets in the room and corridor. Hairs in the bath/shower and stained bed sheets. In addition the fridge in the room absolutely stunk and people can not be expected to consume chilled goods out of this, it is a health hazard.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel which although large and busy was light, airy and comfortable and coped well with the numbers flowing in and out. We used the bar rather than restaurants for food and we found it reasonably priced for a hotel and very nicely presented. We really enjoyed our time here and wouldn't hesitate to stay again if we were in the area.

« Warm welcome, room ready, knowledgable and friendly staff »

We checked in the day before and received confirmation w-mail. When we arrived there was a small problem where I had mistyped part of cr card but this was quickly rectified and the room was ready. On checkout although we had signed up for the quick checkout, our son had locked a cup and saucer in the safe, so we informed reception when handing in the key, again a warm thanks for letting them know and sympathy for the hapless parents.

Staff were efficient and polite. Lack of hot water from 6 am thru 9 am not acceptable. Bed was very hard as well.
