I stayed in room 233. Room refrigerator was out of order and never replaced during my stay in the hotel. Staff in the dining hall is not courteous. I asked for English breakfast tea bags and the staff said not available. I said check in the stock and then he returned with the tea bags. Paper glasses are kept in the room to take the tea and the glasses become hot and difficult to hold. I had to purchase my own porcelain cups from the market. Hotel provides one complimentary water bottle on arrival - not fair. Each day two complimentary water bottles should be provided free as in other hotels of Novotel in other parts of the world, for example, Kolkata, India. Adopters for connecting to the mobile phones/lap tops should be provided

Dear Narinder, Thank you for taking the time to review your stay. It is regretful that your stay with us did not meet your expectations. We do wish to clarify that you had requested your mini bar be removed during your stay as it was flickering. We did have a new one available, but didn't want to replace it during your stay as we did not want to cause any additional problems. We regret the service provided by the wait staff during breakfast was not to our usual standards. Rest assured I have reviewed your feedback in detail with our restaurant manager to prevent this issue from happening in the future. Indeed, while we do provide only one complementary water bottle per room, guests can buy additional bottled water at reception for 2,50 euro per bottle. « Extremely noisy rooms with muscitos »

Worst night of sleep ever. After changing my room once because of crying children next door and it felt they were in my room due to the extremely bad wall insulation, I ended up in a room with a window on a very small passage. During the night it became extremely noisy. At dole point I thought my window was open but it appeared to be very bad single glass insulation Without mentioning the 3 muscitos I had to chase during the night to try to get some quiet time in between drunken people passing on the street...

It was however a little surprising to hear that you experienced noise disturbance from the street as all of our rooms do have double glazed windows and soundproofed doors. « Very nice hotel, good service, good location, but the room was worn out. »

Very nice people, good reception good breakfast, good infrastructure, good location. But the room was worn out: furniture was broken, doors were damaged by humidity, the curtains were not clean anymore... a ral pitty for such a price.

« Nice hotel, perfect location, building work at 8am was disappointing. »

We loved the location of the hotel, it is perfect. We had a lovely view of the catherdral from our room which was great. However the dissapointing moment was on the Monday morning we had building work and very loud drilling at 8am which meant that we couldnt sleep. I rang reception and all they said was that it would end at 3pm! Why this wasnt shifted 2 hours later in the day is puzzling as you come to a hotel to relax, not get up early due to drilling.

Room was comfortable and clean. One think that was disturbing - in the first day I had a bottle of water in the fridge. In the next days I didn't have any water in the room. This was annoying because I thought (and also heard that this was the case in another room) that I'll have water.

Dear Mrs. B., Thank you for your email and review. I’m sorry to hear that your stay didn’t run as smoothly as it should have and want to thank you for providing me with the feedback. We will talk to the building company as we had an agreement with them that works wouldn’t commence before 8am and noise would limited until 9am; though obviously this wasn’t respected. We’re sorry to hear there were also issues at check out and with the opening times of the bar, which understandably, only added to a feeling of disappointment. I’ve therefore decided to add 4000 additional Le Club points to your Le Club card, which is the equivalent of 80 euros, to be spent in any of the Accorhotels participating in the program.
