« On the floor it felt like a cheep motel. »

The staff was courteous and welcoming. That was in great contrast with the state of the floor and the room. It was the first time I saw a Novotel like that I was not expecting so I guess it looked even worse. Wall paper had been stripped which gave the corridor a morbid feel. In my room the carpet spotted all over made me regret not having slippers. The room smelled of cigarette smoke I quiet hated that. The wall by the mirror had a dent. All furniture had scratches and bruises. At least the sheets looked clean but pillows smelled bad. The bathroom was ok.

« Comfortable and friendly »

As always, your hotel is comfortable and friendly. However, it lacked detail to cleanliness. In my bathroom there was long, black hair in the sink and tub. I am blonde with short hair. The bathroom could have been cleaner. The rooms are getting a bit outdated too. Carpet needs replacing. Bedding was starting to show signs of being worn, tattered.

The stay was comfortable and clean. Paid-parking was a bit off-putting, and being called at 12:05am by a front desk representative was a bit disturbing (called the room looking for a different guest, I'd imagine by extension/mistake). Otherwise, the stay and room was very comfortable.

« Stayed twice in two weeks, second time I was in the floor under renovation. »

Overall the stay and the restaurant/bar were great. Staff were super even under the Multi-Tasks they were performing. Parking I found an issue - paying- then trying to find a spot big enough for my car. My company covered parking and yet on my last day I had to pay at the exit again???

I was in the room 117 ( not sure) but on the first floor. Cause of the doors...too many noises during the night and early in the morning. No sheets in my bed ???? No electricuty plug beside my bed, no bulbss in 2 lamps of my room. Hair in my bed. The breakfast at the hotel ( before our meeting was disgusting)

« It was one of the worst hotel rooms I have ever stayed at and I am always in hotels because if dance and hockey »

It was horrendous to say politely. Aside the bathroom the room was stinky. Freezing (which I asked to fix) instead of fixing it the heater turned on every fifteen minutes with a 10 second shot of like warm air and did this all night adding to sleep deprecation where I needed to be alert to run dangerous equipment. When I told them of this they dismissed it as renovations. How can you allow someone to sleep in such a disastrous room. 214

« This is the shittiest hotel ever »

It was awful. Limited staff. Staff they did have was incompetent. Hotel smells weird. Hotel is dated and dirty. Room had a lack of hangers and tv didn’t work. Was afraid to touch anything. Will never stay here again and prob never again at Novotel. Seriously it’s like a 3rd world country in there.

« Dated, Old, Overworn, weird bathroom reno »

I hate to say it as I usually don't mind when a hotel is showing it's age but the Novotel hallways smelled more of chemical air freshener (I'm scent - sensitive), my room had burn marks in tables, different coloured light bulbs, holes in the sheets (no top sheet at all), and a weirdly renovated bathroom in an otherwise outdated and worn room. There wasn't even a toilet paper holder. The room a/c or heating unit ran on full (noisy) all night even when I tried to turn it off. I get being under renovation but usually an entire room suite would be done. From what I could tell the room sheets were clean (white) and the wifi worked well enough. The meeting rooms and catering were ok.
