Nothing great. Just a small Hotel with very helpful people in the reception and a small room. They accepted my request for a room on a high floor and it was ok. The room was small, the first day they didn't clean my room as good as the final day but I didn't feel that my room was dirty.

The staff are nice and helpful. Location is good and easy reachable. The hotel room are neat and tidy with comfortable bedding. The room is also served with free drinks provided and personal utilities. Quality with value.

very poor cleanliness. Almost every day had to ask reception for new toilet paper and new towels. WC was never(!) cleaned during 6 days.

There was a problem with my original hotel booking, but I was transferred to another one that I had actually stayed in before. That was well managed and at all stages my experience was fine; I was particularly impressed by the efforts of the staff to make my stay as pleasant as possible.

« Left a lot to be desired, pretty disappointing and makes me wish I used Air BnB. »

Paying for a hotel room in Paris, I didn't think I would see what I saw. Disappointing. If I ever change my mind about using Bookings, I would buy insurance that would let me cancel my reservations and get a return on some if not all my money. I was unable to change my reservation and given that we were booked for 6 nights, I was "stuck" in this subpar accommodation. The stay at Hotel Mercure (Rue Lambert) was poor. The maintenance and cleanliness of the hotel was not up to my standard and I am sure the standard of others. When first walking into the room, we were greeted by the dirty and musty smell of the carpeting. Also, when using the bathroom, we found a leftover bar of soap in the shower. . . The maintenance staff and was a bit rude, and did a poor job of cleaning. One night after returning to the hotel from spending the day out, we found the carpet to be gritty as there was visibly an orange seed on the floor. We did not eat an orange during our stay there. One day I caught the maintenance cleaning and they were using our towels to wipe the floor, with their feet. When I saw this, this did not inspire much confidence that the bathroom was being cleaned appropriately with the appropriate cleaning. On the last night, the bathroom did smell awful and I wonder if it could be attributed to the poor cleaning. Also, some of the sheets had holes and rips on them. This did not look pleasant and again, just made the stay at Mercure feel pretty poor overall.

Everything went well - form a warm welcome to friendly assistance from the hotel manager with some personal paperwork and allocation of a parking slot. Smallish rooms but with every comfort and spotlessly clean every day. A great find in a nice location.

Great Hotel in Convenient Location. From the moment we entered the foyer we were welcomed by staff who shared knowledge freely. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble. On reviewing our weeeks itinerary in Paris were given good advice especially on public transport. We would recommend this Mercure and when in Paris will definitely stay again.
